코로나 19 대응을 위한 보육교사와 영유아 어머니의 고민과 노력에 관한 현상학적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 코로나 19의 어려움 속에서 보육교사와 어머니가 어떠한 고민을 하며 어떠한 대응 노력을 하는지 알아보았다. 2021년 3월 4주부터 4월 5주까지 교사와 어머니와의 심층면담을 통해 자료를 수집하였으며 수집된 자료는 Giorgi의 현상학적 연구 방법에 의거하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 코로나 19로 인해 보육교사는 코로나 블루를 경험하고 있었고 어머니를 통제하기 어려운 고민을 하고 있었다. 이에 교사들은 긴급 보육으로 영유아 대 교사의 비율이 줄어 든 상황을 질적으로 높아진 교육과 보육서비스를 제공하는 기회로 삼고, 개인 위생에 더 철저해진 보육 환경을 제공하는 노력을 기울이는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 교사들은 코로나 19 상황에서 외부와 차단된 바깥 놀이터의 중요성을 인지하며, 어머니의 요구에 민감하게 반응하는 현장을 만들어감으로써 코로나 19로 인한 어려움을 해결하고 있었다. 또한 행복한 교사가 되도록 노력하는 것이 보육현장의 질적 수준 향상과 함께 간다는 것을 깨닫고 행복한 교사되기의 노력을 기울이고 있었다. 코로나 19로 인한 어머니의 고민은 일하는 부모라서 아이에게 미안함과 불안함을 느끼는 것과 가정에서의 보육이 어렵다는 것이었다. 이에 대응하기 위한 어머니의 노력은 자녀와 질적인 시간을 늘리고 미래 팬데믹 현상에 대한 마음가짐을 새롭게 하며 전염을 예방하는 좋은 습관을 형성하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 코로나 19에 대응하기 위한 보육교사와 어머니의 고민과 노력을 동시에 알 수 있었다. 본 연구는 향후 다시 발생할 것으로 예측되는 팬데믹 정책 지원과 국가적 재난 상황에 필요한 효과적인 운영 방법에 대한 기초 자료를 제공하는데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

In this study, amid the difficulties of COVID-19, We looked into what kind of concerns the childcare teacher and mother had and what kind of response efforts they made. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with teachers and mothers from the 4th week of March to the 5th week of April 2021, and the collected data were analyzed according to Giorgi's phenomenological research method. As a result of the study, childcare teachers were experiencing COVID-19 and were having difficulty controlling their mothers. Accordingly, teachers are making efforts to provide a more thorough childcare environment for personal hygiene, using the situation where the ratio of infants to teachers has decreased due to emergency childcare as an opportunity to provide quality education and childcare services. In addition, teachers were aware of the importance of the outdoor playground blocked from the outside in the COVID-19 situation and were solving the difficulties caused by COVID-19 by creating a site that responded sensitively to their mother's needs. In addition, he realized that trying to become a happy teacher goes with improving the quality of the childcare site and was making efforts to become a happy teacher. The mother's concern due to COVID-19 was that she felt sorry and anxious about her child because she was a working parent, and that it was difficult to raise children at home. Mothers' efforts to respond to this have been shown to increase qualitative time with their children, renew their mindset about future pandemic phenomena, and form good habits to prevent transmission. Through this study, it was possible to know the concerns and efforts of childcare teachers and mothers to respond to COVID-19 at the same time. This study is meaningful in providing basic data on pandemic policy support, which is expected to occur again in the future, and effective operation methods necessary for national disaster situations.
