유튜브 빅데이터를 활용한 다문화교육에 대한 소셜 네트워크 분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 다문화교육을 키워드로 하는 유튜브 빅데이터를 대상으로 유튜브 이용자들의 다문화교육에 대한 관심도와 인식을 소셜 네트워크 분석을 통해 파악하는 것이다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 다문화교육에 관한 핵심 키워드 중 빈도수가 가장 높은 것은 ‘문화’였다. 둘째, 소셜 네트워크 맵 분석 결과 ‘문화’와 ‘교육’중심으로 네트워크가 형성되어 있었다. 셋째, 다문화교육을 키워드로 하는 유튜브 동영상 2,329개를 토픽모델링(LDA) 분석한 결과 ‘교육’, ‘학교’, ‘다문화교육’, ‘학생’, ‘문화’를 키워드로 하는 토픽과 ‘문화’, ‘세계’, ‘영상’, ‘동화’, ‘이해’를 키워드로 하는 토픽이 각각 589편 나타났다. 이 연구결과를 토대로 향후 관련된 뉴스나 기사와 같은 정형 데이터를 분석한 연구가 따라준다면 본 연구 결과의 일반화 수준을 높이는 데 유용할 것이다. 또한 SNS 간의 소셜 네트워크 분석 결과를 비교함으로써 본 연구에서 도출되지 않은 또 다른 결과를 확인할 수 있을 것이다. 이와 함께 유튜브 이용자들의 관심이 높은 다문화교육 관련 정책이나 지원 등을 키워드로 하는 후속 연구를 통하여 세부 내용을 파악하고 유튜브 이용자들이 필요로 하는 방안 마련을 위한 후속 연구나 정책적 지원이 따라주는 것이 추천된다.

영문 초록

This study used YouTube Big Data as a database for multicultural education as a keyword. The purpose of this study was to find out the fields of interest and key keywords for multicultural education of YouTube users through social network analysis. The results of the study on the interest and perception of YouTube users on multicultural education are as follows. First, ‘culture’appeared the most as a key keyword for multicultural education. Second, as a result of the YouTube big data social network map analysis on multicultural education, ‘culture’ and ‘education’ are keywords with high connection-centricity, and networks are formed around them. Third, through topic modeling (LDA) analysis of 2,329 YouTube videos with the keywords of multicultural education, topics and ‘culture’ with ‘education’, ‘school’, ‘multicultural education’, ‘student’, and ‘culture’ as keywords , ‘world’, ‘video’, ‘fairy tale’, and ‘understanding’ as keywords were produced 589 topics each. Based on social network analysis using YouTube big data with multicultural education as a keyword, research is needed to analyze structured data such as news and articles to increase the generalization level of future research results. In addition, by comparing the results of analysis of social networks between SNSs, another result that was not derived in this study could be confirmed. Through follow-up research with keywords such as policies and support related to multicultural education that YouTube users are highly interested in, it is necessary to understand the details and develop policies and support that YouTube users need.
