성인 진로장벽 관련 변인에 관한 국내 연구 메타분석

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 성인 진로장벽과 관련 변인 간 상관계수의 평균 효과크기를 밝히는 것이다. 연구 목적 달성을 위해 PRISMA에서 권고하는 체계적 문헌수집 절차에 따라 문헌을 수집하였고, 최종적으로 86편의 연구물을 선정하여 분석에 활용하였다. 연구방법으로 메타분석을 활용하였으며, 통계분석을 위해 R의 메타분석 패키지인 ‘meta’, ‘metafor’를 이용하여 동질성 검정, 출판편향, 효과크기 등을 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 진로장벽의 구성요인은 인지 변인으로써 구직효능감 및 진로결정자기효능감, 동기 변인으로써 진로동기, 행동 및 결과 변인으로써 진로준비행동, 진로포부 및 진로결정수준, 기타 변인으로써 진로적응성, 진로탄력성, 회복탄력성, 사회적지지와 통계적으로 유의한 부적 평균 가중 상관계수를 보였고 정서 변인으로써 진로 스트레스와 통계적으로 유의한 정적 평균 가중 상관계수를 보였다. 결론적으로 진로장벽 및 그 하위요인과 진로 관련 변인 간에는 다수의 밀접한 관계가 있으며, 진로동기, 진로탐색행동, 진로성과, 진로장벽 등은 순환적 관계를 갖고 있었다. 또한, 사회인지진로이론 및 제한타협이론이 상정하고 있는 진로 장면에서의 진로장벽의 영향이 확인되었다. 이러한 결론에 의거하여 실무적으로는 성인들에게 맞춤형 진로발달, 경력개발 프로그램을 제공할 것, 통합적 정책을 기획할 것을 제언하고, 후속연구 차원에서 성인 중 상세 연구 대상별 진로장벽 영향 차이를 확인하는 연구, 진로장벽에 관한 통합적 모형 개발 연구, 다양한 성인 대상(예: 창업·창직, 프리랜서, 플랫폼 노동자, 중장년 등)의 연구 수행 및 대학생 집단과의 비교 연구 등이 요구됨을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to reveal the average effect size of correlation coefficients between adult career barriers and related variables. To achieve the purpose of the study, literature was collected based on the PRISMA flow chart, and 86 studies were finally selected and used for analysis. Using the meta analysis package 'meta, metacor' of R program, homogeneity test, publication bias test, effect size analysis were conducted. As a result of the study, the constituent factors of career barriers showed significnat positive average effect size with job search efficacy and career decision self-efficacy as cognitive variables, career motivation as a motivation variable, career preparation behavior, career aspiration and career decision level as a behavior and outcome variable, and career adaptability, career resilience, resilience, and social support as other variables. There were numerous significant relationships between career barriers and their sub-factors and career-related variables, as well as cyclical relationships among career motivation, career exploration behavior, career outcomes, career barriers, etc. In addition, the influence of career barriers on career situations, as hypothesized by the SCCT and the Gottfredson’s theory, was confirmed. On the basis of these findings, we intend to implement customized career development programs for adults, as well as formulate integrated policies. We suggested the research that confirming the distinction and develops an integrated model of career barriers, conducting various adult subjects (e.g., start-ups/founders, freelancers, platform workers, middle-aged, etc.) and comparing studies with university students.
