국문 초록

본 연구는 기독 청소년의 내면화된 수치심과 자살사고의 관계에서 하나님 이미지와 자기용서가 매개하는지 살펴보고, 이들의 연속다중매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 개신교 교회에 출석하는 기독 청소년을 대상으로 지면설문지와 URL 설문지를 배포하여 자료를 수집하였으며, 총 267부의 자료를 분석에 사용하였다. Hayes의 매개분석법을 활용하여 주요 변인들의 관계를 분석하였으며 붓스트레핑을 통해 매개효과를 검증하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기독 청소년의 내면화된 수치심은 자살사고를 유의미하게 설명하였다. 둘째, 내면화된 수치심과 자살사고의 관계에서 하나님 이미지의 매개효과는 유의하지 않았다. 셋째, 내면화된 수치심과 자살사고의 관계에서 자기용서는 부분 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 내면화된 수치심과 자살사고의 관계에서 하나님 이미지와 자기용서의 연속매개효과는 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine whether God-image and self-forgiveness mediate the relationship between internalized shame and suicidal ideation among Christian Adolescents, and to test those variables’ serial multiple mediating effect. Questionnaires were distributed to Christian adolescents attending Protestant churches in person and via URL, and a total of 267 participants’ data were utilized for analysis. The relationships among major variables were analyzed using Hayes(2013)’s mediating analysis method, and the mediating effects were verified through bootstrapping. The main findings are as follows. First, internalized shame explained suicidal ideation significantly. Second, God-image did not mediate the relationship between internalized shame and suicidal ideation. Third, self-forgiveness partially mediated the relationship between internalized shame and suicidal ideation. Finally, God-image and self-forgiveness had a significant serial multiple mediating effect on the relationship between internalized shame and suicidal ideation. Based on these results, the implications and limitations of this study were discussed.
