생태유아교육현장에서 경험하는 유아교사의 행복감에 관한 내러티브 탐구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 생태유아교육현장에서 경험하는 유아교사의 행복감을 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 생태유아교육기관에서 근무하는 5명의 유아교사들을 대상으로 2011년 9월부터 2011년 12월까지 총 12회기에 걸친 대화모임과 교사저널을 통해 내러티브 탐구를 진행하였다. 대화모임과 교사저널에서 수집한 내러티브 내용을 분석한 결과 생태유아교육현장에서 경험하는 유아교사들의 행복감은 ‘몸과 마음이 건강한 삶 속에서 경험한 행복감’, ‘더불어 사는 삶 속에서 경험한 행복감’, ‘지금 여기의 삶 속에서 경험한 행복감’, ‘보람 있는 삶 속에서 경험한 행복감’으로 나타났다. 생태유아교육기관에서 근무하는 유아교사가 경험한 행복감에 근거하여 ‘생태유아교육과 함께하는 유아교사의 행복감 이야기 다시 읽기’를 제시하였고, 이를 통해 본 연구의 논의점 및 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to assess the level of happiness experienced by early childhood teachers’ within the eco-early childhood education field. For this study, a narrative inquiry was administered to five early childhood teachers working at eco-early childhood educational establishments. The teachers participated in twelve dialogue meetings and kept journals chronicling their experiences over the course of four months, from September 2011 to December 2011. The inquiry found that the early childhood teachers in the eco-early childhood education field who were the happiest with their lives were those who had a healthy body and mind, were living in company with others, and who felt their lives were worthwhile. On the basis of these findings, we propose that further research be conducted on the happiness of eco-early childhood teachers and we recommend that further dialogue be conducted on this subject in order to determine the implications of this study.
