국문 초록

본 연구는 자연탐색을 통한 신체표현활동이 유아의 자기조절력 및 운동능력에 미치는 효과를 알아보고자 만 5세 유아 44명(실험: 22명, 비교: 22명)을 대상으로 주2회 8주간 총 16회의 실험처치를 실시하였다. 그 결과, 자연탐색을 통한 신체표현활동을 실시한 실험집단의 유아들이 일반 신체표현활동을 실시한 비교집단의 유아들보다 자기조절력 및 운동능력에 더 높은 향상을 보였다. 이러한 결과는 유아교육현장에서 자연탐색을 통한 신체표현활동을 고안하고 실천하는데 활용될 수 있으며, 바람직한 신체표현활동의 방향을 설정하는 데 있어 기초 자료를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to examine the effect of physical activity that involved nature exploration on the self-regulation and motor abilities of young children. For this study, 22 five-year-old children were selected to participate in the experimental group and 22 five-year-old children were selected to participate in the control group. The Children in the experimental group engaged in physical activity that involved nature exploration for eight weeks. The children in the control group engaged in physical exploration activities related to the theme of life for eight weeks. The children who engaged in physical activity involving nature exploration showed significant improvement in their self-regulation capabilities and motor abilities. The results have important implications for the development and application of teaching and learning methods related to physical activity involving nature exploration for young children.
