국문 초록

본 연구는 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니들이 자녀의 행복 의미를 구성하는 데에 영향을 주는 맥락과 어머니가 구성하는 행복의 의미 유형을 설명하는 데에 목적을 두었다. 연구 자료는 유아기 자녀를 둔 16명의 어머니와의 2차례 인터뷰를 통해 수집되었으며, 근거이론의 방법에 의해 분석되었다. 개방코딩을 통해 188개의 개념, 48개의 하위범주, 15개의 범주가 도출되었고, 축코딩을 통해 행복의미 구성과정에 나타난 인과적 조건, 중심현상, 맥락적 조건, 작용 및 상호작용 전략, 중재적 조건, 결과를 각각 제시하였다. 그리고 핵심범주 ‘나를 찾아가는 과정‘과 핵심범주에영향을 미치는 조건들과의 관계, 정형화, 진술의 과정을 통해 행복의미 구성의 7가지 유형을 제시하였다. 그리고 이를 바탕으로 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 자녀 행복의 의미구성에 영향을 주는 생태적 맥락의 특성과 자녀 행복 의미의 유형에 나타난 특성을 논의하였고 부모교육에 대한 시사점을 제공하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to explain the process of constructing children’s happiness meaning through interacting with the characters of circumstance and individual’s experiences whose mothers have young children. The study participants were 16 mothers, who have young children. The data were collected through the interviews which conducted over about 10 months from March 2013 to December 2013. The Data were analyzed according to a grounded theory methodology. The data analysis revealed 188 concepts, 48 subcategories, and 15 categories. And the casual condition, the contextual conditions, the phenomenon, the intervening conditions, the action-interaction strategies and outcomes were suggested. The core category of the process for constructing the meaning of children’s happiness was ‘the process of finding the self’. The process types of meaning construction on children’s happiness were 7 types. The study discussed based on the these results the characters of context and types process of children’s happiness meaning construction and suggested implications on parent education.
