그룬트비의 ‘살아있는 상호작용’ 원리로 본 유아기 자녀를 둔 아버지 교육의 함의 모색

국문 초록

본 연구는 삶의 경험을 자각하고 실천하는 산 교육을 강조한 덴마크 근대교육 사상가 그룬트비에 주목하여 그의 교육사상의 핵심원리인 ‘살아있는 상호작용’을 살펴보고, 이를 토대로 오늘날 아버지 교육에 주는 함의를 탐색해보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 먼저 그룬트비의 생애와 교육사상을 알아본 후 ‘살아있는 상호작용’ 원리의 의미를 들여다보았다. ‘살아있는 상호작용’ 원리는 삶을 통찰하며 삶을 생성해 나가는 것이고, 민중의 말을 통해 나누고 배우는 것이며, 민족의 역사를 알고 다양하게 교류하는 것임을 소개하였다. 따라서 그룬트비의 ‘살아있는 상호작용’ 원리로 본 유아기 자녀를 둔 아버지 교육은 자녀양육의 일상을 경험하면서 성찰해가는 방향으로, 입말로 자녀와 관계맺고 입말로 배우는 흐름으로, 민족의 아버지 상을 재조명하여 새롭게 만들어가는 과정으로 볼 필요가 있음을 제안하였다. 본 연구는 이러한 제안을 통해 생동감있는 아버지 교육에 대한 새로운 시선을 제공하였다는 점에서 의의를 둘 수 있겠다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to explore the implications for father education based on the ‘living interaction’, which is the core principle of the educational thoughts of the Danish modern education thinker N. F. S. Grundtvig, who emphasized living education that recognizes and practices the experiences of life. To this end, we first looked at Grundtvig’s life and educational thoughts and at the meaning of the principle of ‘living interaction’. We described that the principle of ‘living interaction’ was to create life through insight into life, to share and learn through people s living words, and to realize about the history of the nation and interact with various people. Therefore, we proposed the implications of father education with young children based on Grundby’s ‘living interaction’ principle. First, father education should be a way to reflect through the daily experiences of raising children. Second, father education should be a process of communicating with children through words and learning through words. Third, father education should review the national father image and support the creation of new father image. As a result, this study was meaningful in that it has offered a new idea of lively father education.
