사진을 통해 살펴본 유아교육과 1학년 학생들의 대학 생활

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아교육과 1학년 학생들이 직접 생성한 사진과 이에 대해 작성한 텍스트를 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 먼저 자료 내용을 수량화하여 경향성을 파악하고, 이를 중심으로 개념과 의미를 도출하였다. 자료 분석 결과 학생들의 대학 생활 모습에 대한 사진은 삶 안에서의 역할을 기준으로 ‘학생으로 살아가기’, ‘알바생으로 살아가기’, ‘나로 살아가기’의 세 범주로 나타났다. 첫째, 학생들은 지혜로운 통학러(er) 되기, 뫼비우스의 과제 고리에 대비하기, 이전 경험과 다른 생소한 시험에 맞서기와 같은 학생으로서의 모습을 보여주었다. 둘째, 다양한 알바의 세계로 입문하기, 알바를 통해 배우기와 같은 알바생으로서의 모습을 보여주었으며, 마지막으로 학생들은 소확행으로 삶을 즐기기, 건강한 나를 위해 노력하기의 삶을 지내는 모습을 보여주었다. 본 연구는 학생들이 직접 생성한 사진을 분석함으로써 그들의 대학생활의 이미지를 들여다보고자 하였다. 이를 통해 학생들의 생활 모습이 학생 본연의 역할 이외에 다채로운 삶의 영역과 긴밀하게 연결되어 있음을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze students’ photographs taken in relation to their lives and texts written about their college lives. For this, the tendency was understood by quantifying the data, and then the concept and meanings were determined focusing on this process. In the results of data analysis, the students’ photographs of their lives were divided into three large categories based on their current roles within their lives, including “living as a student,” “living as a part-timer,” and “living as myself.” First, the students showed aspects of becoming wise commuter students, coping with the loop of Mobius tasks, and facing unfamiliar exams. Second, the students showed aspects of entering the world of various part-time jobs and learning from those jobs. Third, the students showed aspects of enjoying their lives by doing something small but certain related to happiness and promoting their own health. This study aimed to examine the university lives of students by analyzing the photos and writings that they created on their own. The results of this study showed that the lives of university students are closely connected to various life domains besides their original role as students.
