국문 초록

이 연구는 초등학생들의 인성함양과 체조교육 활성화를 위한 목적으로 운동정서와 자아존중감의 관계에서 체조에 대한기본심리욕구의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 목적달성을 위해 전문 체조교육 프로그램에 참여한 150명의 초등학생들을 선정하였고, 매개회귀분석과 Sobel test 방법으로 매개효과를 검증하였다. 첫째, 초등학생들의 운동정서는 자아존중감을 유의하게 설명하지만, 기본심리욕구의 자율성에 대한 유의성이 없는 것으로 가설이 기각되었다. 둘째, 운동정서와 자아존중감의 관계에서 유능성 욕구의 매개효과를 검증한 결과, 긍정정서와 긍정 자아존중감 및 부정 자아존중감간의 관계에서 유능성 욕구는 부분 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 운동정서와 자아존중감의 관계에서 관계성 욕구의 매개효과를 검증한 결과, 운동정서와 긍정 자아존중감, 긍정정서와 부정 자아존중감의 관계에서 관계성 욕구는 부분 매개하였고, 부정정서와 부정 자아존중감의 관계에서는 매개효과가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 체조교육의 필요성이 입증되었고, 초등학생들의 전인적 성장과 신체의 고른 발달을 위해 체조교육이 활성화되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

This study attempted to verify the mediating effect of basic psychological needs for gymnastics in the relationship between exercise emotion and self-esteem for the purpose of cultivating character and revitalizing gymnastics education of elementary school students. To achieve the purpose, 150 elementary school students who participated in professional gymnastics education programs were selected, and the mediating effect was verified through mediating regression analysis and Sobel test methods. First, the exercise emotion of elementary school students significantly explains self-esteem, but the hypothesis was rejected as there was no significance in the autonomy of basic psychological needs. Second, as a result of verifying the mediating effect of competence desire in the relationship between exercise emotion and self-esteem, it was found that competence desire partially mediated in the relationship between positive emotion and positive self-esteem and negative self-esteem. Third, as a result of verifying the mediating effect of relational desire in the relationship between exercise emotion and self-esteem, it was found that relational desire partially mediated in the relationship between exercise emotion and positive self-esteem, positive emotion and negative self-esteem, and there was no mediating effect in the relationship between negative emotions and negative self-esteem. Through this study the neccesity of gymnastic education is proven, and gymnastic education should be vitalized to boost elementary studentʼs physical and mental growth.
