국문 초록

인간은 성장과 발달 과정을 겪으면서 다양하고 복잡한 운동기능을 습득한다. 그 동안 많은 이론들이 인간의 운동학습 과정을 설명하기 위해 제시되었지만 어느 이론도 한 가지만으로는 완벽하게 운동학습 과정을 설명하기 어렵다고할 수 있다. 특히 초등학교 학생들은 운동에 대한 경험이 많지 않기 때문에 새로운 동작에 대한 학습을 통하여 숙련된 동작이 어떠한 메카니즘에 의하여 형성되는가는 매우 중요한 주제가 될 수 있다. 일반적으로 운동기능은 피아노 연주와 같이 작은 근육을 사용하는 소근 운동기능(fine motor skill)과 대부분의 스포츠에서와 같이 큰 근육을사용하는 대근 운동기능(gross motor skill)으로 구분될 수 있다. 그러나 어떠한 운동기능이든지에 상관없이 운동기능의 학습과정은 크게 다르지 않다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 전통적인 운동학습/제어 이론에서부터 최신의이론에서까지 운동기능의 학습과 관련된 중요한 메카니즘을 제시함으로써 초보자 수준에서 숙련자 수준으로의 운동기능 습득 과정을 이해하는데 기여하고자 하였다. 본 고에서는 자유도의 조절은 통한 기능적 단위의 형성, 협응구조, 지각-운동 결합, 어포던스, 시각의 활용, 위상의 변화, 관성 결합 등에 대한 심층적 고찰을 통하여 초등학교 학생은 물론 인간의 운동기능 학습이 어떻게 이루어지는 것인가를 규명하기 위해 노력하였다.

영문 초록

Human acquires the various and complex motor skill through experiencing the growth and development, There have been many theories to explain the processes of motor learning but it is general that no theoty could not explain the processes of the skill acquisition completely. Especially, because the elementary students do not have enough sports activities, it could be a so important issue to investigate the mechanism of acquiring the skilled performance though the practices. Motor skill can be classified into fine motor skills which use small muscles as in playing the piano and gross motor skills which use big muscles as in performing most of sports. But there are no big differences in the processes of skill acquisition between the two. This study could contribute to the understanding the processes of motor learning form the novice level to the skilled level through presenting the basic mechanism of motor skill acquisition. To achieve these goal many theories and concepts, from the classical ones to up=tp-date ones, were investigated via literature reviews. The concepts of the control of degrees of freedom, the functional unit, the coordinative structure, perception-action coupling, affordance, the utilization of optical information and the phase transitions were examined, which could be applied to explain the motor skill acquisition of the elementary school students as well as elderly people.
