국문 초록

본 연구는 결혼이주여성의 초등학생 자녀 양육 경험에 관하여 질적 연구방법인 근거이론 연구방법으로 사회복지 실천 현장에서 활용가능토록 이론화하고자 수행하였다. 연구에 적합한 12명의 연구참여자와 심층 면담을 통한 녹음, 현장노트 기록을 주 자료로 2012년 11월부터 2013년 4월까지 6개월 동안 수집하고 Strauss와 Corbin(2001)이 제시한 개방 코딩, 축 코딩, 선택 코딩의 과정에 따라 분석하였다. 연구 결과 186개의 개념과 41개의 하위범주, 15개의 범주로 도출하였다. 인과적 조건으로 ‘낯선 삶’, 중심 현상으로 ‘어찌할 수 없음’, ‘뒤처짐’, ‘미안함’, 맥락적 조건으로 ‘기질’과 ‘무지’, 중재적 조건으로 ‘가족체계’, ‘학교와 지역사회체계’, ‘국가체계’, 작용/상호작용 전략으로 ‘물어보고 부탁함’, ‘뛰어듦’, ‘힐링(healing)’, ‘도전함’, 결과로는 ‘감인(堪忍)’, ‘상생과 행복을 기다림’으로 도출하였다.

영문 초록

This research is about studying rearing experience of their elementary school children of female marriage immigrants and was designed based on grounded theory research method which is a type of qualitative research methods. 12 subjects were selected over five rounds until legitimated subjects for this study were saturated using the theoretical sampling of grounded theory research method. Recording of interviews in depth with the subjects, notes and reports were collected as core data from November, 2012 to April, 2013 for six months. Data analysis was conducted simultaneously with data collection process, and then it was analyzed through open coding, axial coding, and selective coding using the procedure suggested by Strauss and Corbin(2001). After the analysis, 186 concepts were drawn from the open coding then it was categorized under 41 subcategories, then again, 15 categories were drawn after abstraction. ‘Unfamiliar life style’ came out to be the causal condition for rearing experience of their elementary school children of female marriage immigrants, ‘nothing can be done’, ‘falling behind , and ‘feeling sorry’ were the central phenomena, ‘tendency’ and ‘ignorance’ were the contextual conditions, ‘family system’, ‘society system’ and ‘national system’ were the intervening conditions, ‘asking favors’, ‘throwing oneself into’, ‘healing’ and ‘challenge’ were the action/interaction strategies, and finally ‘endurance and perseverance’, ‘waiting for coexistence and happiness’ were drawn as the consequences.
