청소년 성장 과정에서 나타난 섭식장애 진행요인과 어머니와의 갈등에 관한 사례연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 청소년 섭식장애를 가지고 있는 내담자의 성장 과정과 어머니와의 갈등을 중심으로 한 사례를 분석하고 논의하는 데 있다. 본 연구는 내담자와 어머니를 중심으로 진행된 상담 과정에서 획득한 축어록과 상담 중 녹음을 바탕으로 질적 분석방법을 활용하여 주요개념을 도출하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 내담자의 성장 과정에서 나타난 섭식장애 진행요인은 영유아기, 아동 전기, 아동 후기에서 발견된 잠재요인과 청소년 전기와 후기에서 발생한 유발요인 및 청소년 후기에 나타난 유지 요인이 있었다. 내담자의 섭식장애와 관련된 어머니와의 갈등 요인은 모와의 불신, 편애를 하위요인으로 한 남모를 외로움과 모녀간 성격차이, 가치관의 차이의 하위요인을 포함하는 모와의 정서적 괴리에 의한 그늘진 독립성, 그리고 비일관적 태도, 역기능적 소통, 공감과 친밀감 없음으로 인한 소통 부재를 확인하였다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 섭식장애 청소년 내담자를 대상으로 하는 상담에서는 어머니와의 갈등과 관련된 맥락을 고려하여 개입할 필요성을 제시하였다. 또한, 청소년의 낮은 자존감과 섭식장애의 관련 요인에 대한 폭넓은 연구를 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze and discuss cases centering on the growth process and conflict with mothers of adolescents with eating disorders. This study derives the main concept by using qualitative analysis method based on counseling word record and counseling recording acquired in counseling process centered on client and mother. The results of this study are as follows. The factors related to eating disorders in the client s growth were potential factors found in infancy, early childhood, late childhood, incidence factors occurring in early and late adolescents, and retention factors in late adolescents. Conflict factors with the mother related to the client s eating disorder confirmed the client s own loneliness, shaded independence due to emotional separation from mother, and lack of communication. Based on these findings, counseling for adolescents with eating disorders suggested the need to intervene in the context of conflict with mothers. In addition, a broad study on the related factors of adolescents low self-esteem and eating disorders was proposed.
