희생양 역할을 한 중년여성의 인형 가족세우기 현상학적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 가족 희생양 역할을 한 중년여성의 인형 가족세우기 경험을 심층적으로 이해하고 기술하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 희생양 경험을 한 만 40∼59세의 중년여성 5명을 대상으로 인형 가족세우기를 진행하였다. 심층 면담을 통해 자료를 수집했으며, Giorgi의 현상학적 연구방법을 적용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과 가족희생양 역할을 한 중년여성의 인형 가족세우기 경험의 공통적, 본질적 의미를 다음의 6개 첫째, ‘윗세대와의 얽힘의 결과인 희생양 역할을 인식함’, 둘째, ‘가족의 숨겨진 역동을 온 몸으로 느낌’, 셋째, ‘무의식적 얽힘을 풀면서 제자리를 찾아감’, 넷째, ‘가족의 책임감 덩어리로부터 벗어나면서 카타르시스를 경험함’, 다섯째, ‘존중과 감사를 표함으로써 윗세대와의 연결감을 회복함’, 여섯째, ‘삶의 후반전에서 새로운 이야기를 쓰기 시작함’ 등으로 도출하였다. 본 연구의 의의는 인형 상징체계를 활용한 가족세우기를 통해 가족희생양 역할을 한 중년 여성의 미해결된 심리적 갈등과 가족 역동을 살펴보았다는 점에 그 의의가 있으며, 인형 가족세우기의 치료적 가치와 적용 가능성을 경험적으로 드러냈었다는 점이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to thoroughly understand and describe family-scapegoated middle-aged women’s experience of family constellation therapy using figures. To this end, family constellation therapy using figures was given to five family scapegoated middle-aged women aged between 40 and 59. Data was collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed using Giorgi’s phenomenological research method. As a result, the following six common and essential meanings of their experience of family constellation therapy were derived: First, recognizing the role of scapegoat, which resulted from entanglements with the older generation. Second, feeling the hidden dynamics of the family with their whole body. Third, finding their own place while unlocking unconscious entanglements. Fourth, experiencing a catharsis while unloading their responsibility from the family. Fifth, regaining the sense of connection with the older generation by expressing respect and gratitude. Sixth, starting a new chapter in the second half of life. This study has significance in exploring the unresolved psychological conflicts of family-scapegoated middle-aged women and family dynamics through family constellations using figures and empirically revealing the therapeutic value and applicability of the figure therapy.
