초등학교 체육부장교사의 학교놀이터 조성 경험에 관한 셀프연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 초등학교 학교놀이터 조성 과정에서 체육부장교사인 연구자의 경험을 탐색하고, 이를 토대로 초등학교학교놀이터가 지향해야 할 방향을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 셀프연구의 방법론에 따라 연구를 설계하여연구자 본인의 놀이터 조성 일지와 학교 구성원과의 심층면담 자료 및 기타 문서 등의 자료를 수집하였다. 수집한자료를 Spradley(1979)의 영역 분석과 분류 분석을 토대로 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학교놀이터 조성 과정에서 체육부장교사의 인식 변화에 주목하였다. 인식 변화는 세 가지로 ‘시켜서 하는 업무에서 스스로 추진하는업무’, ‘새로운 교육환경시설의 가치 이해’, ‘학교놀이터에 대한 가치관 형성’으로 드러났다. 둘째, 학교놀이터 조성과정의 행정적 어려움과 극복을 기술하였다. 이는 연구자가 체육부장교사로서 맞부딪힌 다양한 행정적 어려움을 학교장과 협력하여 어떻게 극복하였는지 제시한 부분이다. 셋째, 학교놀이터 활성화를 위한 동료교사와의 협력과 관련된 구체적 사례와 의미를 기술하였다. 논의에서는 새로운 학교놀이터에 대한 사회적 요구와 이에 대한 학교 구성원의 주체적 역할 및 학교놀이터 관련 활동 프로그램과 시설 측면에서의 관리 및 유지·보수에 대해 기술하여 향후관련 연구에 시사점이 될 수 있도록 하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to explore the experiences of the elementary teacher who is the head of the sports department, in the process of creating a school playground, and to suggest a direction for the elementary school playground based on this. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, this study collected the researcher s reflection diary, and the interviews with school teachers and related papers. Data were collected and interpreted according to the self-research methodology. The analysis results were categorized into the following three categories. First, in the process of creating a school playground, the change in the perception of the sports manager was revealed to be a task that is self-promoted from a task that is ordered , understanding the value of new educational environment facilities , and formation of values for school playgroundsʼ Second, the administrative difficulties and overcoming of the school playground construction process were revealed as difficulty in securing budget , unavoidable civil complaints , and construction sites that must be visually checkedʼ Third, cooperation with fellow teachers to revitalize school playgrounds was revealed as Knocking on the wall of indifference , from work TF team to teacher learning community , and Possibility of revitalizing school playgrounds seen through fellow teachers . In the discussion, the social demands for a new school playground and the role of school members, and the management and maintenance of school playground, and school playground-related activity programs and facilities were described to provide implications for future research.
