시각장애 학생의 점자 문해력 검사도구 개발 타당화 연구

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 시각장애 학생의 점자 받아쓰기, 읽고 쓰기, 읽기 유창성을 포함한 점자 문해력 검사도구를 개발하고 그에 대한 검사도구의 타당도와 신뢰도를 검증함과 아울러 점자 문해력 검사 결과에 대한 학년 및 점자 학습 기간과의 상관은 어떠한지를 알아보는 데 그 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 검사도구 개발을 위한 규준 개발에 참여한 학생은 점자를 학습한 지 1년 이상 된 시각장애 학생 총 71명이었으며, 초등학생 38명, 중학생 33명이었다. 연구결과: 시각장애 학생의 점자 문해 능력은 학년보다는 점자 학습 시기와 상관이 높은 것으로 나타나서 점자 학습기간에 따라 5단계(1～2년, 3～4년, 5～6년, 7～8년, 9～10년)로 집단을 구분하였다. 다음으로 개발한 검사도구의 타당성을 검토한 결과 시각장애 학생의 학업성취도에 따라 상,중,하 집단으로 구분하였을 때, 세 집단 모두 점자 문해 능력 검사의 하위 검사에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보여 예측타당도가 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 점자 학습 기간에 따른 하위 집단에서 집단별로 유의미한 차이를 보여 개발된 검사도구가 발달적 타당성을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 검사의 신뢰도에 있어서는 검사-재검사 신뢰도, 채점자간 신뢰도, 내적일관성 신뢰도에서 모두 높은 신뢰도를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 결론: 개발한 검사도구는 시각장애 학생의 점자 받아쓰기, 읽고 쓰기, 점자 유창성을 검사하는 데 유용하게 사용할 수 있으며, 교육 현장에서 점자 학습의 효과성을 점검하고 점자 학습 기간 증가에 따른 발달적 변화를 살펴보는 데 많은 도움이 될 것이다. 끝으로 연구의 제한점 및 후속 연구에 대한 교육적 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a Braille literacy evaluation tool including Braille dictation, writing the text, and reading fluency for visually impaired students and to verify the reliability and validity of the evaluation tool. Method: The blind students who participated in this study were students who had learned Braille for more than a year, and a total of 71 students, among them were 38 elementary school students and 33 middle school students. Results: As a result of the study, the Braille literacy of visually impaired students was found to have a higher correlation with the period of Braille learning than with the grade level. Next, as a result of reviewing the validity of the developed tool, when the visually impaired students were divided into upper, middle, and lower groups according to their academic achievement, in the three sub-tests of the Braille literacy, the three groups showed a statistically significant difference, which indicating high predictive validity. And developmental validity was shown by significant differences between groups according to the Braille learning period. In addition, all of test-retest reliability, inter-inspector reliability, and internal consistency reliability were verified. Conclusion: Finally, limitations of this study and educational implications for follow-up studies were presented.
