기독 대학생의 신앙성숙도와 진로태도성숙의 관계에서 소명의식의 매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 기독 대학생들의 소명의식이 신앙성숙도와 진로태도성숙 정도의 관계를 매개하는지 탐색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 먼저 기독학생들 384명을 대상으로 진행한 본 연구에서 성숙한 신앙생활을 하는 학생일수록 진로태도성숙이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 소명의식의 매개효과를 살펴본 결과 소명의식은 신앙성숙도와 진로태도성숙의 관계에서 완전매개 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 성숙한 신앙생활을 하는 학생들이 높은 소명의식을 가지며 이와 같은 높은 소명의식은 그들로 하여금 성숙한 진로태도를 가지게 한다는 결과를 나타낸 것이다. 본 연구의 결과를 미루어 보면, 기독학생들이 단지 성숙한 신앙생활을 한다고 하여 졸업 후 진로에 대해서도 확실한 목적의식을 가지고 독립적인 태도를 가지는 것이 아니라, 자신의 신앙생활을 통하여 높은 소명의식을 가지고 이 소명의식에 따라 자신들의 진로에 대해 진지하게 고민하고 준비하는 성숙한 태도를 나타낸다는 것이다. 따라서 기독 대학생의 진로태도성숙도를 높이기 위해서는 소명을 발견하고 소명의식에 따라 진로를 결정할 수 있는 교육과 프로그램 개발이 필요함을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This study investigated the mediating effect of perceived calling in a relationship between the spiritual maturity and career maturity of Christian college students. 384 Christian college students participated in this study, and the results showed that more mature students tended to show more mature career preparation. Furthermore, this study examined the mediating effect of perceived calling in a relationship between spiritual maturity and career maturity. The results indicated that perceived calling fully mediated the relationship. In other words, those who are spiritually mature tend to have a greater sense of perceived calling, which leads to high career maturity. The results implied that Christian college students will gain higher perceived callings resulting from greater spiritual maturity, and this will lead them to develop career maturity. Therefore, it is important to create an educational program that helps Christian college students finding their callings and follow their callings so that they might have a more mature career preparation attitude once they choose a career path.
