치유에 대한 통일교적 접근

국문 초록

이 논문은 치유에 대한 통일교의 교리적 근거와 그 방법론적 이해를 시도한 것이다. 먼저 치유에 대한 일반적 정의에 기초하여 건강과 질병 및 치유에 대한 통일교의 이해를 창조, 타락, 복귀 그리고 수수작용의 관점에서 살펴보았다. 다음으로 치유에 대한 통일교의 교리적 근거를 수수작용의 관점으로 설명하였고, 상담이론으로 방법론적 이해를 시도하였다. 통일교는 가정생활을 중시하여 축복결혼을 권장한다. 이 연구는 건강한 가정을 이루는 과정에서의 부부치유를 위한 교육과 상담에 초점을 맞추었다. 치유를 전제로 할 때, 교육이 문제를 예방하기 위한 조치라면, 상담은 문제를 해결하기 위한 노력이라고 할 수 있다. 통일교는 부부란 하나님의 뜻을 중심으로 맺어진 인연이고 우주적 차원의 가치를 지닌 만남이라고 본다. 부부는 단순히 나와 너의 관계를 넘어 ‘우리’를 이룬 것이다. 이 연구는 통일교의 부부치유를 위한 하나의 방법으로 가트만의 이론에 근거한 사랑의 지도와 감정은행 및 부부관계 향상의 위한 대화법을 제시한다. 가트만은 부부의 문제를 부부 사이의 대화법을 개선함으로써 해결하고자 하였다. 이 연구는 부부상담 방법을 적용한 사례를 소개하고 그 치유효과도 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This paper is an attempt to understand the doctrine of the Unification Church regarding healing and its methodology. Starting from a general definition of healing, this paper first looks at the Unification Church’s understanding of health, disease, and healing from the perspective of the Creation, Fall, Restoration, and give and receive action. Then the paper explains healing through the doctrine of the Unification Church through the perspective of give and receive action and attempts at a methodological understanding through a theory of counselling. The Unification Church places importances on family life and recommends the blessing marriage. This research focuses on education and counselling for marriage healing in the process of creating a healthy family. From the perspective of healing, if education is a way to prevent problems, counselling is an effort to resolve the problems. The Unification Church sees the relationship between husband and wife as a relationship that is made centering on God’s Will and as an encountering that has the value on a universal level. The relationship between a husband and wife signifies a relationship of ‘we’ which goes beyond a simple relationship between ‘you and I.’ Based on John Gottman’s theory, this research points to love map, emotional bank, and communication method to improve the relationship between husband and wife as a way to heal marriages. He seeks to solve marriage problems by improving methods of communication between husband and wife. This research also introduces cases that applied the method of counselling relationship between husband and wife and the effects of healing.
