국문 초록

본 연구는 베이비부머 세대의 여가생활만족과 행복한 삶을 영위할 수 있도록 하는데 그 방향을 제시하고자 여가생활만족과 행복에 영향을 미치는 결정요인에 대하여 규명하였다. 이를 위해 2019 국민여가활동조사 자료를 토대로 1955년도 출생부터 1963년까지에 해당하며 여가활동에 참여한 경험이 있는 1,479명의 표본을 최종분석에 활용하였다. SPSS 24.0을 활용하여 빈도분석, 상관분석 및 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 이 같은 과정을 통해 도출한 결론은 다음과 같다. 먼저, 여가생활만족에 미치는 결정요인은 여가인식, 시간부족, 주관적 건강인식, 근무시간, 성별, 가구원 수 순으로 나타났다. 베이비부머 세대의 행복 결정요인은 여가생활만족, 주관적 건강인식, 여가인식, 지출부담, 성별 순으로 나타났다. 즉, 베이비부머 세대의 여가생활만족은 행복에 영향을 미치는 가장 주요한 예측 변인이며, 여가인식 및 주관적 건강인식은 여가생활만족과 행복에 공통적인 결정요인임이 밝혀졌다. 반면, 여가제약에 있어 여가생활만족에는 시간적 측면(시간부족)이, 행복에는 소득측면(지출의 부담)으로 부적인 영향을 미치는 결정요인임을 알 수 있었다. 이는 대부분 선행연구와 일치하는 결과로 유전적, 환경적, 의도적 활동 모두에서 여가생활만족과 행복에 영향을 주는 주요한 결정요인임이 확인되었다. 앞으로도 베이비부머 세대의 여가생활만족과 행복관련 많은 연구가 다각도에서 이루어져야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the study is to explore factors influencing the leisure satisfaction and happiness of baby boomers. In order to achieve the research purpose, the data of the 1,479 participants who were born from 1955 to 1963 were selected in 2019 Survey on National Leisure Activity data and used for further analyses. Using SPSS 24.0, frequency analyses, correlation analyses, and hierarchical regression analyses were conducted. The results showed that leisure consciousness, perceived lack of time, subjective health perception, working hours, gender and number of household members influenced the leisure satisfaction of baby boomers significantly; however, leisure satisfaction, subjective health perception, leisure consciousness, burden of expenditure and gender explained the happiness of baby boomers, respectively. Leisure satisfaction was the most important predictor of the happiness of baby boomers while the leisure consciousness and subjective health perception was important for both leisure satisfaction and happiness. Interestingly, perceived lack of time is a significant constraint of leisure satisfaction but burden of expenditure is that of happiness. The most of the results were in line with the existing literature; however, more research should be conducted on the leisure satisfaction and happiness of baby boomers.
