국문 초록

비정부기구가 주도해온 농촌 커뮤니티를 위한 사회적 기업 프로그램 개발은 한국과 같은 선진국에서 발생한 지역 개발의 핵심 요소 중 하나이다. 그리고 이 프로그램은 특히 농민과 같은 농촌 커뮤니티 개발을 시작하였다. 개발도상국으로서 필리핀은 지속가능한 경제 성장을 달성하기 위해 고투하고 있다. 필리핀 세부 지역 남서부에 위치한 알레그리아에서 운영되는 비정부기구, 알레그리아 재단 주식회사(SPAAFI)의 성 베드로 아카데미는 사회적 기업 프로그램을 농민들에게 참가시키며 풀뿌리 커뮤니티를 개발해 왔다. 이 연구는 사회적 기업 프로그램이 이 분야의 농민 경제상황에 중요한 개선점을 이끌어 왔는지 여부에 대한 평가를 목표로 하고 있다.

영문 초록

Development of social enterprise programs for grassroots community led by non-government organizations is one of the key factors in rural development happening in developed countries like that of South Korea, which started developing its grassroots community especially the farmers. Philippines, as a developing country, is struggling to achieve a sustainable economic growth. St. Peter Academy of Alegria Foundation Inc. (SPAAFI), a non-government organization operating in Alegria, in the southwestern part of Cebu Province in the Philippines has been developing the grassroots community of farmers by engaging them into a social enterprise program. This study aims to evaluate the social enterprise program if it has brought significant improvements to the economic conditions of the farmers in the area.
