중년 남성의 포커싱적 태도가 중년기 위기감에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 한국 중년 남성의 인구통계학적 특성에 따른 포커싱적 태도와 중년기 위기감의 차이와 포커싱적 태도, 중년기 위기감의 상관관계를 알아보고 포커싱적 태도가 중년기 위기감에 미치는 영향을 밝히는 데에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 수도권 거주 중년 남성 230명을 대상으로 하여 KFMS-R과 중년기 위기감 척도를 사용하여 설문조사를 실시, 회수된 설문지 중 총 222부를 분석에 사용하였다. 자료는 SPSS 19.0 통계프로그램을 사용해 빈도분석, 기술통계분석, T-검증, 일원분산분석, Pearson의 상관분석, 중다회귀 분석을 시행하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 포커싱적 태도 전체와 하위요인 중 표현하기, 되새겨 보기는 50대가 높고 유의미하며, 중년기 위기감의 하위요인 중 젊음의 상실에서 40대가 높고 유의미하게 나타났다. 둘째, 포커싱적 태도의 하위요인 중 알아차리기는 중년기 위기감 전체와 유의미한 양적 상관관계를, 되새겨보기는 개별화 위기와 유의미한 정적 상관관계를 보였으나 표현하기는 중년기 위기감 전체와 자기 후회, 젊음의 상실, 정서적 불안정에 유의미한 부적인 상관관계를 보였다. 셋째, 포커싱적 태도는 중년기 위기감에 미치는 영향은 유의미하게 나타났다. 본 연구는 최근 한국 중년 남성들이 겪는 어려움에 포커싱적 태도를 통하여 중년기 위기에 잘 대처할 수 있음을 시사한다. 이에 실질적인 도움을 줄 수 있는 교육과 상담에 필요한 기초자료를 제공했다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 마지막으로, 본 연구의 제한점, 후속 연구의 필요성을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the correlation between focusing attitudes, middle-aged crisis feelings, and middle-aged crisis feelings, and to reveal the impact of focusing attitudes on middle-aged men s sense of crisis. To this end, 230 middle-aged men living in the metropolitan area were surveyed using KFMS-R and middle-aged crisis measures, and a total of 222 of the recovered questionnaires were used for analysis. The data used the SPSS 19.0 statistics program to conduct frequency analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, T-verification, one-way ANOVA, Pearson s correlation, and medium-regression analysis. The results of the study are as follows. First, among the overall and subfactors of focusing attitudes, 50s are high and meaningful, and 40s are high and significant in the loss of youth among the subfactors of the sense of crisis in the middle age. Second, the subfactors of focusing attitude showed significant quantitative correlation with the entire middle-aged sense of crisis and significant static correlation with the individualization crisis, but expression showed significant negative correlation with the overall middle-aged sense of crisis, loss of youth, and emotional instability. Third, the effect of focusing attitude on the sense of crisis in the middle age was significant. This study suggests that Korean middle-aged men can cope well with the middle-aged crisis by focusing on the difficulties they face recently. It is meaningful in that it provided basic data necessary for education and counseling that could provide practical help. Finally, we propose the limitations of this study, the need for further research.
