국문 초록

목적 : 본 연구는 치매 노인을 대상으로 한 그룹치료 연구들을 수집 분석하여 그룹치료의 특성과 중재 효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 2009년부터 2019년까지 국내 데이터베이스를 통해 23편의 무작위 대조군 실험연구를 분석대상으로 선정하였고, Cochrane Library의 RevMan 5.4 프로그램을 사용하여 효과크기를 산출하였다. 연구결과 : 그룹치료의 효과크기(1.48)는 큰 효과크기를 나타내었고, 하위중재별 효과크기에서 미술치료(1.81)와 음악치료(1.19)는 큰 효과크기를, 작업치료(0.54)는 중간효과크기를 나타냈다. 효과변인 별 효과 크기는 우울(1.76), 삶의 질(1.53), 자아표현통합감(1.38), 인지기능(1.31) 순으로 큰 효과를 보였다. 결론 : 본 연구의 그룹치료 효과성을 토대로 작업치료의 임상 현장에서 복합중재를 적용한 그룹치료 연구가 활발하게 진행되어야 할 것으로 여겨진다.

영문 초록

Objective : The purpose of this study is to find out the characteristics of group therapy and the effects of treatment by collecting and analyzing group therapy studies for the elderly with dementia. Methods : We selected 23 randomized controlled trials from 2009 to 2019 as the subjects of our analysis through databases in Korea. We derived the effect sizes using RevMan 5.4 software by Cochrane Library. Results : The effect size of group therapy(1.48) showed a large effect size, and art therapy(1.81) and music therapy (1.19) showed a larger size, while occupational therapy(0.54) showed intermediate treatment effect size. The effect sizes of each e ffect variable were s ignificant in the o rder o f depression(1.78), quality of life(1.53), Ego-integrity(1.38), and cognitive function(1.31). Conclusion : Based on the effectiveness of the group therapy in this study, group therapy research applied with complex interventions at the clinical practices of occupational therapy should be actively conducted.
