국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 생태소양의 의미와 속성을 파악하여 생태소양의 개념을 분석하는 것이다. 생태소양의 개념을 구체화하기 위해, 구성요소, 하위 영역, 내용 요소 선정을 위해서는 메타분석의 형식으로 선행연구들을 분석하는 문헌연구 방법을 이용하였다. 생태소양을 개념화한 결과, 생태소양(ecoliteracy)이란 지속 가능한 인간 공동체와 사회를 건설하기 위해, 생태계의 조직 원리를 이해하고, 이러한 원리를 적용하는 능력으로 정의하였다. 이 개념에 근거하여 도출된 생태소양의 구성요소에는 정서, 생태학적 지식, 사회-정치적 지식, 환경 쟁점 지식, 인지적 기술 지식, 환경적으로 책임이 있는 행동이 포함되었다. 이러한 연구 결과는 향후 생태소양에 대한 유아교육학적 이론 개발에 기여할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to conceptualize ecoliteracy. In order to conceptualize ecoliteracy, the concept was specified through the process of selecting constructs, their subcategories and details. In order to do so, literature review was conducted to analyze previous studies by utilizing meta-analysis. Conceptualization of ecoliteracy defined ecoliteracy as an ability to understand the organizational principles of the ecosystem and to apply these principles to real life for the purpose of building a sustainable human community and society. Constructs of ecoliteracy drawn from this concept included affect, ecological knowledge, socio-political knowledge, knowledge of environmental issues, knowledge of cognitive skills and environmentally responsible behaviors(ERB). It is expected that this will contribute to the future development of theories of early childhood education concerning ecoliteracy.
