유아교사의 전문성 관련요인에 대한 메타분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아교사의 전문성과 관련한 선행연구를 중심으로, 전문성 관련 요인에 대한 효과크기를 메타분석을 통해 검증하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아교사의 전문성에 영향을 미치는 요인군의 전체효과크기는 큰 효과크기를 가진 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아교사의 전문성에 영향을 미치는 요인군 중 직무특성-보호가 가장 큰 효과크기를 가진 것으로 나타났으며, 그다음 조직특성, 개인특성, 직무특성-위험 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 유아교사의 전문성 개인특성 중 인성과 행복은 큰 효과크기를 보인 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 유아교사의 전문성 조직특성 효과크기는 의사결정참여가 가장 큰 효과크기를 가진 것으로 나타났으며, 그다음 조직효과성, 동료관계, 감성리더십, 원장 변혁적 리더십, 원장 거래적 리더십 순으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 유아교사의 전문성 직무특성–보호요인의 효과 크기는 교사효능감, 교수몰입, 교직헌신, 놀이 교수효능감, 역할수행, 영유아와 상호작용, 직무만족은 큰 효과크기를 보인 것으로 나타났으며, 교직신념은 중간효과크기를 보인 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 유아교사의 전문성 직무특성-위험요인군인 직무스트레스는 중간효과크기를 보인 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 본 연구는 유아교사의 전문성과 관련된 선행 연구들의 결과를 한 틀 안에서 정리하여 객관적인 결과를 제시하였다는데 의의가 있으며, 유아교사의 전문성 향상을 위한 구체적인 방안과 후속 연구에 대한 기초적 자료를 제공했다는데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study examined the effect size of the factors related to expertise through meta-analysis, focusing on previous studies related to the expertise of preschool teachers. The results of this study are as follows. First, it was found that the overall effect size of the factor group affecting the expertise of preschool teachers has a large effect size. Second, among the factors affecting the expertise of preschool teachers, job characteristics-protection were found to have the greatest effect size, followed by organizational characteristics, personal characteristics, job characteristics-risk. Third, it was found that among the individual characteristics of the professionalism of preschool teachers, personality and happiness showed a large effect size. Fourth, as for the effect size of early childhood teachers professionalism and organizational characteristics, participation in decision-making was found to have the greatest effect, followed by organizational effectiveness, peer relations, emotional leadership, director transformational leadership, and director transactional leadership. Fifth, the effectiveness of preschool teachers professionalism and job characteristics–protection factors were found to have a large effect on teacher efficacy, faculty commitment, teaching profession, play teaching efficacy, role performance, interaction with infants and toddlers, and job satisfaction. The belief was found to have a medium effect size. Finally, it was found that the job characteristics of preschool teachers professionalism-job stress, which is a group of risk factors, showed a medium effect size. In conclusion, this study is meaningful in that it presented objective results by organizing the results of previous studies related to the expertise of preschool teachers within one frame. In addition, it is meaningful that it provided basic data for detailed measures and follow-up research for the improvement of the professionalism of early childhood teachers
