국문 초록

본 연구에서는 특수교사의 테크놀로지 활용에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 교사관련 변인들의 특성 및 영향의 정도를 살펴보기 위하여 메타분석 접근을 활용하였다. 포함/배제기준에 근거하여 선정된 총 12편의 연구를 대상으로 총 94개의 효과크기가 추출되었으며 무선효과모형을 적용하여 평균효과크기를 분석하였다. 분석에 활용된 특수교사관련 변인들은 개인요인, 심리요인, 그리고 교수학습관련요인으로 나누었으며, 테크놀로지 활용은 활용능력, 활용시간, 활용태도로 나누었다. 그 결과는 다음과 같이 요약될 수 있다. 첫째, 특수교사의 테크놀로지 활용에 영향을 미치는 변인들에 대한 전체 평균효과크기는 중간 수준으로 나타났으며, 가장 큰 효과크기는 개인요인, 교수학습관련요인, 그리고 심리요인 순이었다. 둘째, 개인요인 및 교수학습관련요인은 테크놀로지 활용에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 심리요인의 효과크기는 유의미하지 않았다. 셋째, 테크놀로지 활용능력과 활용태도는 교사관련 변인들에 영향을 받았으나, 테크놀로지 활용시간은 영향을 받지 않았다. 이상의 결과들을 바탕으로 특수교사의 테크놀로지 활용을 위한 현장 지원 및 향후 연구방향에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to explore the relations between technology use of special education teachers and teacher-related variables using a meta analytic approach. A random-effects model was applied for 12 studies that meet inclusion/exclusion criteria and a total of 94 effect sizes were extracted using the calculations to estimate Pearson’s product-moment correlation coefficient. Teacher-related variables included individual factor, psychological factor, and instructional factor. Technology use was categorized into capacity for technology use, time spent on technology use, and attitude towards technology use. The results can be summarized as follows: first, the overall effect sizes of teacher-related variables on the use of technology were shown as moderate, and the highest effect size was found in individual factor, followed by instructional factor and psychological factor; second, both individual and psychological factors were effective, but psychological factor didn’t show any significance; third, teacher capacity for technology use and attitude towards technology use were influenced by teacher-related variables, but time spent on technology use was not. Based on the results, practical ways to support special education teachers’ use of technology and directions for future research were discussed.
