행복한 미술교육을 통한 창의성 교육

국문 초록

본 연구는 연구자가 개설한 학부선택과목인 ‘포르멘과 색채체험’의 내용 중, 종이염색을 중심으로 행복한 미술교육을 통한 창의성교육의 가능성을 제시하고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위해, 먼저 오늘날 학교폭력문제의 실태를 살펴보고 21세기 창의성의 의미와행복해지는 조형 활동에 대해 고찰하였다. 그 다음에 종이염색을 통한 창의적 조형 활동에서 종이염색의 단계별 수업사례와 수업감상문을 소개하여 행복한 조형 활동이 학습자에게 창의성의 원동력이 되는 것임을 제시하였다. 연구결과 현행 초등미술과 5·6학년 교과서 단원인 천 염색 전 단계에 경제적이고 손쉬운 종이 염색을 통해 충분히색채체험을 하는 것이 학생들의 창의성 신장에 매우 효과적임을 알 수 있었다. 또한,종이염색과정에서 경험한 우연 효과의 아름다움은 학생들에게 놀라움과 기쁨, 창작에의 열정을 불러일으켜 작품 제작에 대한 자신감과 표현력을 현저하게 증진시켰다. 특히, 빠른 시간에 다채로운 결과물이 나오는 종이염색과정에서 학생들의 조형 활동 몰입도는 천 염색과정에 비해 높았고 작품결과에 대한 즐거운 기대와 반응, 만족도도 컸다. 종이 염색 후, 모둠별로 포트폴리오를 공동제작하여 발표·감상하는 과정에서도놀라운 창의성을 보여주었다. 팀원들간의 소통능력 향상과 아이디어 교환, 상호 예술성의 인지과정에서 친밀도 및 협동심, 사회성도 향상되었다. 따라서 종이 염색을 통한행복한 미술교육이 창의성 및 인성교육에도 매우 효과적임을 입증할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to suggest that paper dyeing as part of happy art activity program, which is an elective program created by researcher as a chapter of formen & color experience can develop creativity is students. For this purpose, the researcher first explored current issues(bullying...) in schools and examined the meaning of creativity and happy modeling activity in the 21^(st) century. Following this, the researcher introduced a case study,suggesting the correlation between the creative process and happy modeling activity using paper dyeing. As the result of this study, we have learned that color exploration using cheap and easy paper dyeing before the use fabrics is very effective for developing creativity. Furthermore, experiencing the accidental effect in the process of paper dyeing increased their self confidence and the ability to express while experiencing the pleasure and passion of creating. Students’level of engagement in the process and satisfaction about final product in paper dyeing was also twice as high compared to fabric dyeing as they can see the beautiful results in a short amount of time. Students showed amazing creativity in the process of making and presenting their group portfolio. Group members’ level of communication,rapport and acceptance of each other’s artistic ability also increased. For this reason, happy art education through paper dying is effective for not only creative education but also character education.
