국문 초록

르네상스에 확립된 원근법 이론은 회화적 공간 재현의 정확성을 보증하기 위해 15세기 르네상스 미술가들에 의해 집중적으로 탐구되었고, 인상파의 출현까지 회화에 있어서 기본적이며 필수 불가결한 요소로 생각되어 왔다. 인상주의와 후기인상주의, 입체주의를 거쳐 현대로 접어들면서 화가들은 더 이상 고전주의가 지향하던 재현의 정확성에 관심을 기울이지 않게 되었다. 그림에 있어서 사실보다는 화가의 주관적 표현의자유가 중요하게 다루어지게 됨에 따라 이전처럼 원근법이 회화의 절대적인 요소로 작용하지 않게 된 것이다. 그럼에도 불구하고 원근법은 아직까지도 예술론의 변화와는상관없이 여전히 사실적인 그림을 그리는데 있어서 즉, 2차원적 평면에 3차원적 사실공간의 재현이란 측면에서 반드시 알아두어야 할 회화의 원리로 중요하게 다루어지고있다. 뿐만 아니라 아동의 미술표현발달 과정에서도 원근법적 공간 표현 유무에 따라어느 정도 의 발달과정상에 있는지 판단하며, 사실적 표현의 판단 준거에서도 중요하게 여겨지고 있다. 하지만 2차원적 평면위에 우리의 현실세계를 정확하게 재현해내는수단으로 작용한 원근법의 위상에 비해 원근법은 초등미술교육에서 그렇게 체계적으로 다루어지지 않고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이러한 원근법이 탄생하게 된 배경과그 변천 및 표현 방법적 측면에서의 종류를 중심으로 원근법에 대한 올바른 이해를 이론적 배경에서 고찰하고자 한다. 그리고 초등미술교육에서 원근법이 어떤 내용으로 어떻게 다루어지고 있는지 그 현황을 교사들의 의견조사와 교과서 분석을 통하여 살펴보고, 바람직한 지도방향을 제시해보고자 한다.

영문 초록

Theory of perspective established during the Renaissance was intensivelyexplored by renaissance artists in 15th century in order to assure accuracyof pictorial spaces representation and it has been deemed to be fundamentaland essential element until appearance of impressionists. Coming intomodern times passing through impressionism, post- impressionism andcubism, artists have not paid attention any more to accuracy ofrepresentation which classicism aimed at. Since subjective expressionfreedom of an artist was importantly dealt with in a picture rather than thefact, perspective did no more act as an absolute element of painting asbefore. Nevertheless, irrespective of art theory change, perspective is stillbeing treated as a principle in making a realistic drawing; in other words, aprinciple to be surely known from the viewpoint of representing threedimensionalfactual space on two-dimensional plane. Besides, level of apicture is judged by existence of perspective-wise space representation inchild s development process of expression in fine arts, and it is deemedimportant as criteria of a realistic expression. However, in comparison with the status of perspective acting as a meansto accurately represent our real world, perspective is not systematicallydealt with in elementary art education. Therefore, this study intends to look into birth background of perspectiveand its kinds from the aspect of change and expression way, and on thebasis of right understanding of perspective, it aims to analyze the status mainly with textbooks and teacher questionnaire how it is treated in elementary art education in order to find out problems and to suggest desirable guidance.
