국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 2015 개정 교육과정이 적용된 초등학교 3∼4학년을 중심으로 교육과정이 학교 현장에서 운영되고 있는 실태와 학교에서 교육과정을 운영하면서 당면하는 어려움 및 문제점을 파악하고, 이를 바탕으로 개정 교육과정의 안착을 위한 지원 방안을 제안하는 것이다. 초등학교 3∼4학년의 음악과 개정 교육과정의 변화 및 쟁점은 3∼4학년에서 ‘생활 속의 국악’을 내용 체계 중 내용 요소로 제시함으로써 국악의 생활화와 국악 가치의 인식을 강조했는데, 이들이 실제 교육과정에 어떻게 적용되고 있는지를 살펴야 하는 것으로 파악되었다. 음악과의 운영 실태에 대한 설문조사 결과 음악은 교과 역량, 학습 내용 수준과 양이 적절하다는 의견이었지만, ‘음악의 구성’이 쉬운 반면 ‘생활 속의 국악’은 어렵다는 의견이 많았다. 그리고 학습자의 다양성을 고려한 학생 참여 중심 수업과 교과서 선정 및 활용이 어려움으로 꼽혔다. 음악 교육 내실화를 위해서는 환경적 지원 및 교수·학습 자료, 악기 및 교구 등 다양한 분야에서 지원 필요성을 제기하였고, 학생들의 수준 차이를 고려한 학생 중심 수업 구현과 음악 교육과정 내용 요소 상세화 및 국악 교육 내용 수준의 적정화의 필요를 강조하였다.

영문 초록

The purposes of the current study are to identify the situation in which the 2015 revised national curriculum was implemented focusing on the 3rd and 4th grades at schools, and the difficulties and problems faced in implementing the curriculum at elementary schools, and to propose support measures for settling down the 2015 revised national curriculum. Music emphasizes that Korean traditional music should be a part of life and highlights the recognition of the values of Korean traditional music ​​by presenting “Korean traditional music in life” as a content element in the 3rd and 4th grades, which were found to investigate how they are being applied in the actual curriculum implementation. In regard to music, it was reported that the subject competencies, the level of content elements, and the volume of learning were appropriate. Many reported that “the composition of music” is easy, while “Korean traditional music in life” was difficult. In addition, student-centered classes considering the diversity of learners, and textbook selection and utilization were recognized as difficulties. For the improvement of music education, the need for environmental support and for providing teaching and learning materials, and musical instruments was stressed. the need for student-centered classes considering students’ different learning needs was emphasized as well as specifications for music composition and to optimize content levels of Korean traditional music education.
