국문 초록

성인과 고령자에게까지 확장되어 가고 있는 우리사회의 실업문제의 규모는 갈수록 늘어나고있는 실정이다. 지금까지 실업자 또는 재취업 직업훈련은 그 양적인 부분에 초점을 두었으나실질적으로 직업훈련의 과정이 어떠한지에 대한 질적연구는 제한적이다. 특히 직업훈련에서의중도탈락율이 높아지고 있는 가운데에서 그 원인에 대한 체계적인 진단이 시급한 실정이다. 그원인 중 하나로 직업훈련에 대한 상담과정이 부실하다고 알려져 있는데 훈련생들에게는 직업에대한 상담도 중요하지만 직업훈련 자체에 대한 친밀감과 적응이 적지 않게 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 직업훈련과정을 기획하고 진행하고 있는 실무책임자들을 대상으로 인터뷰를 진행한 결과 직업훈련을 바라보는 직업훈련기관의 관점전환이 필요하다는 것을 알게 되었다. 직업훈련은이전과는 다른 낯선 학습현장으로의 ‘문화적 전환과정’이기에 직업훈련상담과정에서 이 점을특별히 강조할 필요가 있으며, 또한 직업훈련과정에서 마찬가지로 강사와 상담자는 문화적 전환학습을 통해 직업훈련을 성공적으로 마칠 수 있도록 여러 가지 교육적인 배려와 지원이 요구된다.

영문 초록

The size of the unemployment problem in our society, which extends to adults and the elderly, is increasing. Until now, the unemployed or reemployed vocational training has focused on the quantitative part, but the qualitative research on the process of vocational training is practically limited. In particular, as the dropout rate in vocational training is increasing, the systematic diagnosis of the cause is urgent. One of the causes is that the counseling process for vocational training is poor. Although it is important for trainees, the counseling about the occupation is important, but the intimacy and adaptation to the vocational training itself are important. In this study, the interviews were conducted with the executives who are planning and conducting the vocational training process. Since vocational training is a cultural transition process to an unfamiliar learning site, it is necessary to emphasize this point in the vocational training counseling process. There must be a variety of educational considerations and support to ensure successful completion.
