청소년기 부모효능감 척도 개발 및 타당화

국문 초록

본 연구는 청소년기 부모효능감 척도를 개발하고, 타당도를 검증하는 데 목적이 있다. 예비문항 추출을 위해 선행연구를 고찰하고 기존의 척도와 청소년기 부모 및 전문가의 개별면담과 설문자료를 분석했으며, 예비문항의 내용 타당도를 검증하였다. 이후, 청소년기 부모를 대상으로 예비문항에 대한 설문을 실시하였으며, 400개의 설문응답 자료에 대해 탐색적 요인분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 5개의 요인(부모-자녀관계 형성, 신체변화 및 성적 성숙 대처, 자아정체감 형성 지원, 학업 및 진로지원, 또래관계 지원)으로 이루어진 26문항의 척도가 개발되었다. 개발된 척도의 타당화를 위해 청소년기 부모 382명을 대상으로 확인적 요인분석을 실시한 결과 5요인 모형이 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 타당도 검증을 위해 양육효능감 척도, 일반적 자기효능감 척도, 삶의 만족도 척도, 부모역할만족도 척도를 통해 공인타당도를 확인하였다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점 및 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to develop a parenting self-efficacy scale for and to measure its validity.The preliminary items were developed from reviewing previous studies, analyzing the existing scales, and interviewing parents of adolescents and counselors. The validity of the contents of the preliminary items was also verified. After that, EFA was conducted on the collected 400 questionnaire responses. As a result, we developed a parenting self-efficacy scale of 26 items consisting of five sub-factors (parent-child relationship formation, physical change and sexual maturity coping, identity formation support, academic and career support, and peer relationship support). CFA on responses of 382 parents of adolescents was used to verify the validity of the scale and revealed that a five-factor model was adequate. After examining interrelations among Parenting Sense of Competence, General Self-Efficiency Scale, Satisfaction with the Life Scale, and Parent Satisfaction Scale, a concurrent validity was verified. Implications and limitations of this study and suggestions for follow-up studies were discussed.
