국문 초록

본 연구는 아버지의 정서표현 및 반응에 따른 정서표현 양가성의 발달적 관련 변인으로 자녀의 정서표현 양가성과의 관련성을 살펴보았다. 이를 위하여 초등학교 6학년 아동 267명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 아버지의 비지지적 반응과 자녀의 정서표현 양가성, 자기방어적 양가성에서 유의한 성차가 나타났다. 둘째, 아버지의 긍정적 표현과 지지적 반응은 자녀의 정서표현 양가성과 부적 상관이 있고, 아버지의 부정적 표현과 비지지적 반응은 자녀의 정서표현 양가성과 정적 상관이 있었다. 본 연구는 아버지의 정서표현 및 정서반응이 자녀의 정서표현 양가성에 미치는 영향을 살펴봄으로써 보다 건강한 자녀양육행동을 탐색했다는 점에서 의의를 갖는다.

영문 초록

This study investigated fathers’ emotional expressions and reactions to the negative emotions of children as a developmental variable of emotional expression ambivalence. For this, questionnaire study was conducted on 267 sixth grade elementary school children. As a result, there was a significant gender differences in the fathers unsupportive response, the children’s ambivalence over emotional expression and the ambivalence of self-defense. Also, the positive expression and supportive response of the fathers had a negative correlation with the ambivalence of emotional expression of the children, and the negative expression and unsupportive reaction of the fathers had a positive correlation with the ambivalence of emotional expression of the children. This study has a significance as it investigates how fathers’ emotional expression and reaction has influence on children’s ambivalence over emotional expression and exploring a better way of bringing up of children.
