국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 어머니의 정서표현 지각이 유아의 또래 유능성과 또래 수용도에 미치는 영향 에 대하여 구체적으로 살펴보고, 바람직한 어머니의 정서태도에 관한 방향을 제시하여 유아가 사회 환경에서 적응적인 구성원으로 성장하는데 도움이 될 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하는 것에 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 2014년 4월 21일부터 4월 30일까지 Y유치원 만3세 유아 75명, 만4세 유아 75명, 만5세 유아 80명의 유아를 둔 어머니를 대상으로 설문지를 배부하였으며, 만3세 유아 67명, 만4세 유아 71명, 만5세 유아 70명의 설문지가 회수되었다. 수집된 자료는 연구대상 유아와 어머니의 배 경 변인을 살펴보기 위하여 빈도와 백분율을 산출하였고, 연구대상 정서표현 지각 수준과 유아의 또래 유능성, 또래 수용도간의 관련성을 알아보기 위하여 상관분석(correlation analysis) 실시하였 고, 어머니의 정서표현이 유아의 또래 유능성과 또래 수용도에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 다중 회귀분석(multiple regression analysis)을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 어머니의 전체적인 정서표 현과 유아의 또래 유능성 및 또래 수용도 간의 관련성을 알아보기 위한 상관분석 결과는 유의미한 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났고, 유아의 또래 유능성과 또래 수용도와 유의미한 정적 상관 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 어머니의 정서표현이 유아의 또래 유능성 및 또래 수용도에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위한 다중회귀분석 결과는 유의미하다고 나왔다. 어머니의 정서표현 요인 중 부정적 정서표현은 유아의 또래 유능성과 또래 수용도에 유의미한 부적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 바람직한 어머니의 정서태도에 관한 방향을 제시하여 유아가 사회 환경에서 적응적 인 구성원으로 성장하는데 도움이 될 수 있다는 점을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this research focuses on finding out the impact of the mother s perception of emotional expression on 3-5 year olds’ peer competence and peer acceptance, and suggesting basic data which will be helpful for the young children to grow up as socially appropriate members in the society by presenting implications for the mothers’ recommended emotional expression. In order to fulfill the purpose of the research, following questions are asked. First, What kind of relationship is there between the mothers’ emotional expression and the young children’s peer competence or peer acceptance?, Second, How does the mothers’ emotional expression affect the young children’s peer competence or peer acceptance? This study was conducted on mothers with children aged 3 to 5 in Y kindergarten. The collected data were correlated and multi-returned. First, the study found that there was a significant static correlation between the emotional expression of the mother and the child s peer competence and peer acceptance. Second, the analysis of the effects of mother s emotional expression on the ability of infants peers and acceptance of peers showed a significant impact. Among the emotional expression factors of mothers, negative emotional expressions were found to have a significant effect on infants peer competence and peer acceptance. This suggests a direction for the desirable mother s emotional attitude, suggesting that it can help infants grow into adaptive members in the social environment.
