국문 초록

본 연구는 어머니의 양육 스트레스가 어머니의 우울과 초등 1학년 아동의 집행 기능 곤란의 관계를 매개하는지 검증하며, 아동의 집행기능 곤란을 경감시키는 개입 방안을 제시하는 데에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해「한국아동패널연구(Panel Study on Korean Children [PSKC])」의 8차 자료 중 어머니 1518명이 응답한 자료를 PROCESS MACRO를 이용하여 매개분석하였으며, 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 어머니의 우울과 아동의 집행기능 곤란, 그리고 어머니의 양육 스트레스 간의 관계를 상관분석한 결과 주요 변인 간 유의한 정적인 관련성을 보였다. 둘째, 어머니의 우울은 아동의 집행기능 곤란에 직접적인 영향을 미치며, 어머니의 양육 스트레스를 매개로 하여 아동의 집행 기능 곤란에 간접적인 영향을 주는 매개 효과가 확인되었다. 매개효과의 유의성은 부트스트래핑(Bootstrapping) 5000번으로 검증되었다 이를 통해 아동의 집행기능 곤란을 돕기 위해서는 어머니의 우울감과 양육 스트레스를 함께 감소시키는 데에 개입의 중점을 두는 지원의 필요성을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between a mother s depression and children s executive function difficulties, and to suggest a way to reduce children s executive function difficulties. For this purpose, correlation analysis and hierarchical multiple regression analysis were conducted using data from 1518 mothers from the eighth data of the Panel Study on Korean Children [PSKC]. The research results are as follows: First, as a result of correlation analysis between the mother s depression, child s executive dysfunction, and mother s parenting stress, there were significant positive correlations between major variables. Second, the mother s depression directly affects children s executive difficulty in executive function, and the indirect mediating effects of the mother s parenting stress on the child s executive functions have been confirmed. This suggests the need for support that focuses on interventions to reduce the depression and parenting stress of mothers in order to help children s executive functioning difficulties.
