유아교사의 유아인권 교수효능감에 영향을 미치는 요인 분석

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 유아교사의 개인 변인과 유아인권교육과 관련한 교사의 인식 변인, 인권감수성 변인에 따른 유아인권 교수효능감의 차이를 분석하고 이러한 변인들이 교사의 유아인권 교수효능감에 미치는 영향력을 밝히고자 한다. 연구대상은 서울시와 경기도 소재 유치원과 어린이집에 근무하는 유아교사 203명이다. 연구 결과, 유아교사의 유아인권 교수효능감은 개인 변인 중 교사의 최종학력, 기관유형, 연령, 담임반 유아연령, 경력에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 개인 변인 중에서 교사의 유아인권 교수효능감을 예언하는 가장 경력한 변인은 교사의 최종 학력이었다. 교사의 인권교육 관련 인식변인에 따른 유아인권 교수효능감 차이를 보면, 유아인권교육에 대한 중요성 인지도, 유아인권교육 관련 연수경험, 인권 관련 내용 인지도, 유아인권교육 운영여부 등 변인 모두에서 집단 간에 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 인권감수성과 유아인권 교육관련 인식 중에서 교사의 인권 교수효능감을 예언하는 가장 경력한 변인은 유아인권교육 운영, 인권교육 중요성, 인권감수성, 인권내용 인지 순이었고 이 4개 변인으로 설명할 수 있는 유아인권 교수효능감의 변량은 26.6%였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the discrepancies in teachers teaching efficacy on human rights education for young children based on the teachers’ individual differences, human rights awareness, and human rights sensitivity, as well as bring to light their influences on teacher education concerning human rights education. The study subjects consisted of 203 teachers working at different kindergartens and daycare centers in the Seoul and Gyeonggi Provinces. There were statistically significant discrepancies among teachers depending on their final education backgrounds, types of institutions, ages, experiences, and ages of young children teachers were in charge of. Among these factors, the one that was the most indicative of teaching efficacy was the teachers’ levels of education. Additionally, when looking at discrepancies in the efficacies of human rights education for young children in relation to teachers’ perceptions, it was found that there were significant differences based on training experience, awareness on human rights issues, and human rights education frameworks. Overall, it was found that the four factors that had influences on teaching efficacy the most included managing programs for young children’s rights in centers, perceiving the importance of human rights education, having the human rights sensitivity, and recognizing contents of human rights, all of which contribute to 26.6% of teaching efficacy.
