국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 지식재산의 창출자이면서 실수요자인 기업의 요구를 체계적으로 반영한 지식재산 전문대학원의 설립 및 교육 요구를 조사하는데 있다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 지식재산 전문 인력을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시·분석하였다. 이 연구에서 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기업에서 요구하는 지식재산 전문 인력의 인재상은 `국제능력과 이·공학, 법학, 경영학적 소양과 지식, 고도의 실무 능력, 그리고 정의적 특성을 겸비한 인재`라고 인식하고 있었다. 이러한 지식재산 전문 인력 양성을 체계적으로 양성하기 위해 지식재산 전문 교육기관 설립이 필요하다고 인식하고 있었다. 둘째, 지식재산 창출, 보호, 활용에 대한 교육 요구도는 높게 나타났으며, 그 중 지식재산 창출 인력의 교육요구도가 가장 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 지식재산 전문대학원 설립유형 중 기업이 가장 선호하는 것은 `로스쿨 내에 설립`하는 유형으로 나타났다. 기업의 규모에 따라 선호하는 설립 유형은 달랐지만 이 유형을 선호하는 이유로서 지식재산 분야가 이·공학, 법학 그리고 경영학적 소양과 지식을 배우는 복합 학문적인 성향과 실무 위주의 전문 교육이 필요하다는 것에 대기업과 중소기업 모두가 공감하고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the study is to survey on the establishment and educational requirements of intellectual property related schools form enterprises that are the creators and actual demanders of intellectual property. To achieve this purpose, a study was performed a questionnaire survey with specialist in the field of intellectual property. The study`s results were analyzed. The conclusion obtained in the study is as described below. Firstly, it was recognized that the ideal talents of specialist in the field of intellectual property required by the enterprises are the talents who are equipped with international capability, the knowledge of science & engineering, law, and management, high-level of practical work, and definitional characters. It was recognized that the establishment of professional education institutions of intellectual property is required as the measure to grow with systematic the professional manpower of such intellectual property. Secondly, the levels of the requirements for education of the manpower for creation, protection, and management of the intellectual property was found the requirement for education of the manpower for creation of the intellectual property was the highest. Thirdly, in the models of intellectual property related schools, the most preferred model was found to be the ones established in the law schools. Although the models preferred by the enterprises were different, all the large enterprises and small and medium enterprises agreed in the necessity for professional education focused on the integrated academic property and practical work to learn the science & engineering, law, and management knowledge.
