대졸자의 고용형태 결정요인 분석 연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 「대졸자 직업이동 경로조사(2010GOMS1)」자료를 활용하여 2010년에 4년제 종합대학을 졸업한 대졸자의 고용형태 결정에 개인과 대학수준의 변수들이 미치는 영향을 분석한 것이다. 이를 위하여 대졸자의 고용형태를 크게 4가지, 즉, 미취업, 비정규직 취업, 중소기업 정규직 취업, 대기업 정규직 취업으로 나누어 각각의 고용형태 결정요인을 구체적으로 살펴보았다. 이 때, 분석 자료의 위계적 특성을 고려하여 일반화위계선형모형을 적용하여 다층분석하고 그 결과를 비교하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 취업 확률에 유의한 영향을 미치는 변수는 성별, 부모학력, 부모 소득수준, 전공계열, 졸업평점, 영어성적, 어학연수 경험여부, 인턴십 참여여부, 직업관련 교육·훈련 경험 여부인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 정규직 취업 확률에 유의한 영향을 미치는 변수는 성별, 부모 소득수준, 전공계열, 졸업평점, 어학연수 경험여부, 인턴십 참여여부, 직업관련 교육·훈련 경험여부, 졸업한 대학의 국제화 수준인 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 대기업 정규직 취업 확률에 유의한 영향을 미치는 변수는 성별, 전공계열, 졸업평점, 어학연수 경험여부, 인턴십 참여여부, 직업관련 교육·훈련 경험여부, 졸업한 대학의 평판 및 사회진출도, 졸업한 대학의 교육과정 만족도인 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구의 결과는 개인과 대학수준에서 대졸자의 고용형태에 영향을 미치는 요인을 구체적으로 파악함으로써 취업을 준비하는 대학생의 개별적인 노력뿐만 아니라, 졸업생들의 취업을 지원하고 취업의 질을 관리하기 위한 대학 차원에서의 노력의 필요성에 대한 논의를 발전시키는데 시사점을 제공하였다는 점에서 의의를 찾을수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of individual and college characteristics on graduates’ employment status using data from 2010GOMS1(Graduates Occupational Mobility Survey). For this, first we divided into four employment status, specifically unemployment, non-standard workers, standard workers of small and medium Business, and standard workers of major company. The determinants of each employment status were examined by employing multilevel models depending on various student and college variables. The results indicated that first, majors, oversea language course experience, internships, gender, parental income, graduated rating, TOEIC score, parent education level, and training experience related employment have a significant influence on employment probability. Secondly, gender, oversea language course experience, majors, parental income, internationalization of university, graduated rating, internships, and training experience related employment have a significant influence on probability for employing as standard workers. Finally, college course satisfaction, gender, majors, oversea language course experience, internships, reputation of the university, graduated rating, and training experience related employment have a significant influence on probability for employing as standard workers of major company. These results suggest that colleges need to give more efforts on supporting graduates’ employment and managing quality of employment, as well as the individual efforts of students.
