국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 NCS 기반 교육과정 도입에 따른 중등직업교육 교원의 양성, 임용 및 연수 관련 개선 요구를 분석하는데 있었으며, 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 문헌연구와 조사연구 방법이 적용되었다. 문헌고찰은 주로 중등직업교육 교원 양성, 임용 및 연수 관련 정책자료, 연구보고서 등을 중심으로 분석하였다. 조사연구는 중등직업교육 교원 1,179명을 대상으로 실시하였으며, 교원 양성, 임용 및 연수 측면에서의 문제점 및 개선 요구사항을 분석하였다. 자료 분석은 빈도, 평균, 표준편차, F검증 등의 통계방법을 활용하였으며, 모든 통계처리는 SPSS 19.0 for Windows 통계 프로그램을 활용하였다. 이 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교원 양성 측면에서 산업체 현장실습 의무화, 교원 양성 교육과정개편, 신규수요 표시과목 신설 지원에 관한 개선 요구가 높았다. 둘째, 교원 임용 측면에서 연공 서열 중심의 승진제도 개선, 현장실무능력 검증 강화, 희소과목에 대한 단위학교 자율권 강화에 관한 개선 요구가 높았다. 셋째, 교원 연수 측면에서 산업분야별 전문성을 갖춘 기관의 연수과정 개설·운영 확대, 전문교과 교원 대상 연수기관 및 프로그램 다양화, 체험 및 현장실무 중심 연수과정 운영 확대에 관한 개선 요구가 높았다. 이 연구를 통한 향후 정책적 제언 및 후속연구를 제언하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중등직업교육 교원의 양성 및 자격 시스템을 NCS 기반 교육과정에 부합하도록 개편할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 교원 임용시 현장 실무능력 검증절차가 확대될 필요가 있다. 셋째, NCS 기반 교육과정 운영에 필요한 역량을 중심으로 연수 시스템이 구축될 필요가 있다. 마지막으로 NCS 기반 교육과정 운영에 필요한 중등직업교육 교원의 역량을 구명하기 위한 후속연구가 수행될 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the improvement needs for pre-service education, induction program and in-service training of secondary vocational education teachers in NCS-based curriculum. This study was conducted through reviewing literature and survey about pre-service education, induction program and in-service training of secondary vocational education teachers. Using random sampling method considering school type, 1,179 secondary vocational education teachers were sampled for the study. These data were analyzed by both descriptive statistics and ANOVA. All data analysis was accomplished using the SPSS 19.0 for windows program. The major conclusions of this study were as follows. First, the improvement needs related to 1) mandated industry-job training, 2) pre-service program reform, 3) creation of new subject are high in term of pre-service education. Second, the improvement needs related to 1) improvement of promotion system, 2) Strengthen verification of practical skills, 3) Enhanced autonomy for individual schools to rare subjects are high in term of induction program. Third, the improvement needs related to 1) in-service training program expansion of facilities with industry-specific expertise, 2) diversification of in-service training targeted vocational subject teacher, 3) Strengthen of practical program in term of in-service training. Some recommendations for promotion policy and future researches were suggested. First, pre-service education system of secondary vocational education teachers need to be reorganized. Second, verification process of practical skills need to be expanded. Third, in-service training system needs to be established focusing on competencies required for the operation NCS-based curriculum.
