국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 부모애착과 청소년의 자살생각, 그리고 자아존중감과의 관계를 확인하는 데에 있다. 이를 위해 확인한 연구문제는 첫째, 부모애착과 자아존중감은 청소년의 자살생각에 영향을 미치는가? 둘째, 부모애착과 청소년의 자살생각과의 관계에서 자아존중감의 매개효과는 어떠한가?이다. 이를 위해 J지역에 거주하고 있는 청소년 234명으로부터 자료룰 수집하였으며, SPSS21.0과 Amos 21.0로 분석하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 부모애착과 자아존중감은 청소년의 자살생각에 부적(+) 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 자아존중감은 부모애착과 자살생각에 부분매개 하는 것으로 분석되었다. 이는 부모애착과 자아존중감이 높을수록 청소년의 자살생각을 낮추는 보호요인임을 의미한다. 또한 자아존중감이 부모애착과 청소년의 자살생각에 매개변수로 영향력이 있음을 말한다. 이러한 연구결과는 청소년의 자살생각을 낮추기 위한 보호요인을 확인하였으며 이에 맞는 실천적 대안을 모색하는 근거로 의의가 있다. 이에 결론부분에서는 청소년의 자살생각을 감소시키기 위한 다양한 실천적 논의를 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among parental attachment, suicide ideation of adolescents, and self-esteem. The first research problem we tested was: does parental attachment and self-esteem affect suicide ideation of adolescents? Secondly, what mediation effect does self-esteem have on the relationship between parental attachment and suicide ideation of adolescents? To answer these questions, we collected data from 234 adolescents who live in the city J and the data were analyzed by using SPSS21.0 and Amos 21.0. The findings showed: first, parental attachment and self-esteem had negative effects on suicide ideation of adolescents. Second, self-esteem had a partial mediation effect on parental attachment and suicide ideation. This suggests that higher parental attachment and self-esteem reduces the risk of suicide ideation of adolescents. Also, it suggests that self-esteem is an effective parameter in parental attachment and suicide ideation of adolescents. The findings in this study are meaningful for discovering variables that can help reduce suicide ideation of adolescents and searching for practical solutions. In the conclusion, the study proposed various practical ideas to reduce suicide ideation of adolescents.
