수학 교과에서 메타정의 검사 도구의 개발 및 타당화

국문 초록

수학교육에서 인지적 영역뿐 아니라 정의적 영역의 성취도 중시되면서 메타정의의 개념과 그 교육에 대한 관심이 모아지고 있다. 본 연구는 수학 교과 학습에서 학생들이 갖고 있는 특성인 메타정의를 측정할 수 있는 검사도구를 개발하였다. 예비검사와 본검사를 거쳐 수집된 자료를 통해 탐색적 요인 분석과 확인적 요인 분석을 실시한 결과, 성취에 대한 정의적 자각, 가치에 대한 정의적 평가, 정의적 조절, 정의적 활용의 4개 요인이 도출되었고 타당도와 신뢰도가 확보되었다. 이 검사도구는 전문가들의 내용 타당도를 인정받았고, 학생들의 문제 해결 후의 메타정의 응답과도 유의한 상관관계를 보였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 검사도구는 정의적 성취를 측정하거나, 메타정의 교수·학습 전략의 성과를 확인하거나, 다른 교수·학습 요인과의 관계 등을 파악하는 다양한 연구 분야에 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

In mathematics education, the importance of meta-affect and education is attracting growing attention. This study is to develop an inventory to measure meta-affect, a characteristic of students demonstrated in mathematics learning. The analysis on exploratory and confirmatory factors, based on the data collected through the preliminary test and the main test showed four factors, namely, affective use, affective regulation, affective awareness of achievement, and affective evaluation of value and validity and reliability of each factor were obtained. This inventory was recognized by experts for the content validity and showed a significant correlation with the meta-affective responses of students after solving the problem. The inventory developed in this study can be used in various research areas to measure affective achievement, to verify the performance of meta-affect teaching and learning strategies, and to identify relationships with other teaching and learning factors.
