국문 초록

기술교과교육이 4차 산업혁명 시대에 미래사회를 살아 기기 위한 핵심역량을 키워 줄 수 있는 교과로써 중요성이 강조되어야 하지만 그 가치가 인정받지 못하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기술교과교육의 중요성과 나아갈 방향에 대해서 기술철학의 관점에서 논의하고자 한다. II장에서 기술교과교육의 의미와 기술교과교육의 목표 및 내용에 대해서 살펴보고 평가했으며, III 장에서는 기술철학의 의미와 기술철학에서 기술에 대한 논의를 살펴봤다. IV장에서는 기술철학의 관점에서 기술교과교육이 나아갈 방향에 대해서 고찰해보았다. 연구 결과 정보통신기술의 발달로 인해 장인과 같이 도구를 사용하고 제품을 사용하는 기술적 숙련도가 아니라 창의적으로 구상하고, 설계하고 표현하고 자동화된 기계를 운용하는 숙련도가 중요해 질 것이다. 이를 통해 인간과 기술 모두를 소외시키지 않는 인간과 기술의 조화를 이끌어 낼 수 있으며, 기술교과가 ‘메이커교육’, ‘STEAM교육’과 같이 실제적 상황과 기술적 행동자체를 강조한 교육방법이 주목받고 있다는 점에서 긍정적으로 평가할 수 있다.

영문 초록

As a key to develop core competencies to live in the future society in 4th industrial revolution, the importance of technology education should be highlighted but the value is not properly recognized. The purpose of this study is to discuss the importance and direction of technology education from philosophy of technology point of view. In chapter II, the researcher reviewed and evaluated the meaning of the technology education, and its goal and the process of contents. In Chapter III, the researcher discussed the meaning of philosophy of technology and reviewed the discussions on technology in philosophy of technology. In chapter IV, the researcher looked into the direction of education of the technology subject from the perspective of philosophy of technology. According to the research, the development of information and communication technology will make it important not to have the technical skills to use tools and products like artisans, but to have the skills to plan, design, express and operate automated machines creatively. Through this, it can lead to harmony between humans and technology that does not alienate both humans and technology, and it can be positively evaluated in that the technology curriculum is drawing attention to actual situations and methods of technical behavior such as “Maker Education” and “STEAM Education.”
