국문 초록

본 연구는 유아기 교육을 담당하는 예비유아교사의 유아 평화통일 프로그램을 개발하는 경험이 예비교사의 건전한 국가관, 민족정체성, 국가정체성에 어떠한 영향을 주는지 검증하기 위한 목적으로 진행되었다. 예비유아교사를 대상으로 15주간 유아를 위한 평화통일 프로그램을 개발과정에 참여한 전과 후의 차이를 통해 유아 평화통일 프로그램 개발경험이 국가관, 민족정체성 및 국가 정체성에 미치는 효과를 검증한 결과 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 교사의 신념, 가치관, 정체성이 수업에 적용되기 때문에 예비유아교사의 유아 평화통일교육 프로그램 개발 경험이 유아를 위한 평화적인 통일교육 프로그램을 전수하는 데 기여할 것과 대학의 예비유아교사 양성과정에서 유아평화ㆍ통일 분야에 적용될 수 있다는 의의와 함께 후속연구를 위한 제언을 하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to verify how the experience of developing an early childhood peace/unification education program affected a sound view of nation, ethnic identity and national identity in preservice early childhood teachers in charge of early childhood education. Whether there were any differences among the selected preservices in early childhood teachers between before and after their 15-week involvement in the development of a peace/unification program geared toward young children was analyzed to determine what effects of the experience of developing the early childhood peace/unification program had on their views of nation, ethnic identity and national identity, and that was found to exert a positive influence. This study is of significance in that preservice early childhood teachers experience of developing an early childhood peace/unification education program would make a contribution to pass down peaceful unification education programs for the sake of preschoolers because their beliefs, values and identity are reflected in their classes, and this study also is of significance in that the findings could be applied to the early childhood peace/unification sector of college education for preservice early childhood teachers. And some suggestions on future research were presented.
