영문 초록

The sheltered workshop is a controlled working environment and facilities which provides working experience and related service which helps formal life and productive employment situation with the goal of private employment. The sheltered workshop relieves the handicapped of job limitation and sometimes offers working environment. Accordingly, it does act role and function as facilities which supplies employment, job evaluation, training and other rehabilitation services. The pattern of sheltered workshop has a little difference by goal preference. Generally, It is classified differently according to basic pattern, personality, minimal wages, degree of handicap, researcher and nation. The sheltered workshop is a social system arranged intentionally to commit the same special purpose as other organizations. The most important goal which the organization should pursue is to promote an effectiveness of productivity, in this respect, the vocational rehabilitation institution has a speciality different from other institutions. What should be more emphasized in the sheltered work facilities is an economical problem as well as a well-being problem. The basic elements in relation to the sheltered workshop operation are of operation subject, program, the object persons with handicaps, structure of expert, business type and finance.
