국문 초록

급변하는 미래 사회에서는 통찰 능력이 요구된다. 미래를 살아갈 학생들에게 통찰 능력을 학습시키고 신장시키려는 노력이 교과교육에서 강조되고 있다. 음악교과는 시간 속을 반복과 다양한 형태로 변화하며 흘러가는 음악을 재료로 하고 그 형식들의 특성을 교육 내용으로 다루기 때문에 통찰을 학습시키는 데에 매우 효과적인 교과가 될 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 통찰교육이 학교 음악교육에서 어떻게 이루어지고 있는지 알아볼 필요가 있다고 판단하고, 전국 중등학교 현장의 음악교사 78명을 대상으로 통찰 음악교육의 실태와 의견을 조사하여 분석하고 그 분석 결과를 토대로 논의하였다. 연구 결과, 음악교사들은 통찰 음악교육이 매우 필요하다고 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 통찰 음악교육의 대상으로서 심미적 통찰과 느낌의 통찰이 중요하다고 인식하고 있었으나 음악적 통찰에는 낮은 반응을 나타냈다. 실태 조사에서는 통찰 음악교육이 잘 이루어지지 않는 것으로 파악되었으며, 세부적으로 음악적 통찰을 위한 교육이 느낌의 통찰과 심미적 통찰에 비하여 잘 이루어지지 않고 있음이 확인되었다. 효과적인 통찰 음악교육을 위해 내용 영역 중 감상 영역이 가장 적합한 것으로 조사되었고, 교사 연수를 지원해 주고 통찰 음악교육 방법을 개발하여 제공해 줄 필요가 있는 것으로 분석되었다.

영문 초록

In the rapidly-changing future society, the insight is required. The efforts to educate and expand the insight to students are crucial in the subject education. As the music subject uses the time-flowing music in the form of repetition, change, and contrast as its material, and also handles the characteristics of those forms as the contents of education, it could be a very effective subject to teach the insight. Thus, after judging the necessity to understand how the insight education would be performed in school music education, this study researched and analyzed the current states and opinions of insight music education targeting total 78 music teachers of secondary schools in the entire country, and then discussed based on the results of the analysis. In the results of this study, the music teachers highly perceived the necessity of insight music education, and also perceived the importance of aesthetic insight and insight of feeling as the object of insight music education while they showed the low response to the musical insight. The factual survey found out that the insight music education was not performed well. In detail, the musical insight education was not performed well compared to the insight of feeling and aesthetic insight. For the effective insight music education, the appreciation area would be the most suitable out of the contents area. And it would be also needed to support the teachers’ training and also to develop and provide the methods of insight music education.
