국문 초록

학교에서 직업으로의 전환은 모든 학생들의 교육이 완료될 때 모든 학생들이 경험하는 과정이고 장애학생을 위한 학교에서 직업으로의 전환은 특수교육과 재활서비스가 요구된다. 특수교육의 입장에서 볼 때, 관련 서비스는 장애아동의 교육활동을 지원하는 관련 보조 활용으로 받아들여질 수 있으나 장애인 ‘재활’이라는 총체적 측면에서 볼 때, 교육활동은 재활의 한 하위 영역에 해당된다고 이해된다. 특수교육에서 관련 서비스는 특수교육을 지원하는 ‘보조활동’이라기보다, 특수교육은 관련 서비스의 지원 하에 특별히 구안되어 행해지는 교육활동이며, 관련 서비스는 장애로 인한 기능의 전반적 ‘재활’이라는 측면에서, 오히려 특수교육보다 상위의 포괄적인 서비스 활동이라 할 수 있다. 장애인을 위한 재활과 복지 서비스의 총칭으로 관련 서비스의 개념은 매우 포괄적이고 다원적인 것으로 이해되어야 한다. 그리고 전문 직업재활의 고유 영역에서의 특수교육과의 관계는 특수교육은 장애아 직업전 교육으로서의 의미가 있고, 또한 전본 직업 훈련을 보조해 주고 지원해 주는 역할과 기능을 하며, 직업진로교육 및 직업준비교육의 관점에서 이해된다.

영문 초록

This Study investigated the correlation between Special Education and Vocational Rehabilitation in transition period when disabled children graduated from special school and enter society. First, the concept and special points in the transition period, Second, the relevancy of special education and vocational rehabilitation in the process of transition centered on vocational rehabilitation in the aspect of special education and vice versa. Third, the relationship between special education and vocational rehabilitation, the integrated cooperation system of special education and vocational rehabilitation and the correlation between job preparation education-oriented vocational rehabilitation and special education in the transition process. Transition from school to work is the process that all students experience and this transition for disabled students requires special education and vocational service. Related service in the view of special education is considered relevant assisting activity which is supporting the handicapped children s educational activities, but the educational activities are comprehended as the sub-category of rehabilitation, in the light of comprehensive aspect of rehabilitation of the disabled. Transition process is to begin by the person who is related to special education or who is offering adult service, which is the process planned in detail for planning and performing employment or job training for the handicapped children who will graduate or leave form school within 3 to 5 years, and this course should be planned together with the special teacher, the rehabilitation counselor, the handicapped children and their parents, the person related to the adult handicapped service system and employer, etc., as long as possible. In order to come through job education successfully, the planning and preparation of education curriculum that severe handicapped children can get their job appropriate to their needs and aptitudes should be well arranged through pre-job preparation process and training.
