특성화고등학교 학생의 스마트폰 중독과 수업 몰입과의 관계

국문 초록

이 연구는 특성화고등학교 학생의 스마트폰 중독을 예방하고 그들의 수업몰입을 높이기 위하여 수행되었다. 이 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 스마트폰 중독 측정 도구(15문항)와 수업 몰입 측정 도구(21문항)로 구성된 설문지를 통해 전국 5개 권역 13개교 특성화고등학교 학생 1,014명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 특성화고등학교 학생들의 스마트폰 중독위험군이 일반 고등학교 학생들의 스마트폰 중독위험군보다 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 성별에 따른 스마트폰 중독위험군은 여학생의 스마트폰 중독 비율이 남학생보다 높게 나타났다. 학년이 낮을수록 스마트폰 중독 1요인(일상생활장애)이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 전공에 따른 스마트폰 중독 수준은 건축·토목 전공 학생들이 가장 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 특성화고등학교 학생들의 수업 몰입은 보통 수준으로 나타났다. 행동몰입은 높은 수준이었으며 인지 몰입, 감정 몰입은 보통 수준이었다. 성별에 따라서는 수업 몰입은 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 학년이 올라갈수록 수업 몰입 수준이 떨어지는 것으로 나타났다. 전공에 따른 수업 몰입은 전기 · 전자 ＞ 기계 ＞ 건축 · 토목 순으로 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 특성화고등학교 학생들의 스마트폰 중독과 수업 몰입은 부적인 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 특성화고등학교 학생의 스마트폰 중독과수업 몰입은 부적 상관을 가지고 있다는 점을 인식하고 이에 따른 중재가 필요하다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of smart phone use in students of specialized technical high schools and to develop teaching and learning strategies to prevent smart phone addiction and to enhance their academic engagement among the students. First, the students in the specialized high schools were lower than that of the general high schools in terms of risk of smart phone addiction. As for gender, no significant difference was found between boys (10.3%) and girls (12.5%) in addiction of smart phone, The lower the grade level, the higher smart phone addiction is (disturbance to daily living). There was a significant difference in the degree of smart phone addiction according to major of students, students who were majoring in architecture and civil engineering had the highest level of addiction to smart phones. Second, the students in the specialized high schools showed an average level of academic engagement, cognitive engagement, and emotional engagement while they showed a high level of behavior immersion. There was no significant difference in gender, This study also found that as the students went to upper grades, their academic engagement decreased. A significant difference in academic engagement was found among study subjects; electrical and electronic. the highest, followed by machinery and followed by civil engineering andconstruction the least. Along with smart phone addition. Third, a significant negative correlation was found between smart phone addition and academic engagement in the students of specialized high schools.
