기술교사의 기술적 문제 설계 과정

국문 초록

본 연구는 기술교사가 기술적 문제를 어떻게 설계하고 형성해 나아가는지에 대하여 기술하고, 이러한 과정을 설명하는 실체이론을 발견하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 Strauss와 Corbin(1998)의 근거이론 방법을 사용하였다. 본 연구의 참여자는 학회나 논문을 통해 기술적 문제 설계에 대하여 발표한 경험이 있거나, 기술교사의 모임을 통하여 자신이 설계한 문제에 대해 발표한 경험이 있는 21명의 기술교사이다. 기술교사가 기술적 문제를 설계하는 과정을 시간의 흐름에 따라 분석해 본 결과, 설정 단계, 구성 단계, 실행 단계, 정교화 단계로 나타났다. 기술교사가 기술적 문제를 설계하는 과정에 대한 핵심범주는 ‘학습자 중심의 기술적 창조 과정을 통한 문제의 최적화’로 도출되었다. 핵심범주는 학습자를 생각하면서 마음과 행동의 상호작용을 통하여 문제를 구성하는 것을 의미하며, 이러한 상호작용 속에서 학습자와 소통하고, 사고와 행함에 대한 반성적 사고를 통해 문제를 최적화 시켜 나아감을 의미한다. 이 연구는 앞으로 본질적인 기술적 문제를 탐구하기 위한 현상학적 노력이 필요하며, 기술교사가 기술적 문제를 수업에 적용할 때 발생하는 현상에 대하여 수업 관찰과 학습자와의 면담을 통해 연구할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to describe how technology teachers design and form technological problems and find the entity concept that illustrates these processes. In order to achieve this purpose, the grounded theory of Strauss와 Corbin (1998) has been used. The participants of this research were 21 technology teachers who have either had the experience of making publications related to technological problem designing through seminars or papers, or have made presentations about it through public meetings with other technology teachers. As this research analyzed the process chronologically, the stages appear to be setting stage, structuring stage, executing stage, and detailing stage. The core category for the process of designing technological problem by technology teachers was ‘optimization of problems through learner-centered technological creation process’, and the process of designing problems by technology teachers means organizing problems through interaction of mind and action while thinking of learners, and also means communicating with learners within this interaction, and optimizing the problems through reflective thinking about thoughts and actions. Moreover, there was clearly a need to make phenomenological efforts to ponder over the main technological problems based on the various shapes and types of reality, and it wass necessary to further research how the teachers planed in reflected in their lectures as they design the problem and put them into classes, and to do so observation and interviews with the students are necessary.
