특성화고 1학년 학생들의 진로결정과 관련 변인

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 특성화고 1학년 학생들의 진로결정 수준을 구명하고, 이와 관련된 변인들과의 관계를 구명하는데 있었다. 이 연구의 모집단은 특성화고에 재학하고 있는 1학년 학생들이며, 조사 대상으로는 학교 계열을 고려하여 총 600명의 특성화고 1학년 학생을 선정하였다. 이 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 연구자가 개발한 질문지를 활용하였다. 질문지는 진로결정 척도, 진로장벽 척도, 부모의 진로지원 척도, 교육만족 척도, 인구통계학적 특성 조사 문항으로 구성하였다. 자료수집은 2014년 11월 18일부터 12월 4일까지 우편조사를 통하여 이루어졌고, 최종 분석에는 회수된 설문지 중 불성실 응답을 제외하고 560부가 활용되었다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 특성화고 학생들의 진로결정 수준은 보통 이하로 낮았다. 둘째, 특성화고 학생들의 진로결정은 직업정보 부족, 자기 명확성 부족, 필요성 인식 부족과 부(-)적 상관이 있으며, 학생의 교과지도 만족, 학생의 진로교육 만족, 중학교 때 현재 학과의 희망 여부, 성별, 학급 내 학업 성적, 학교 계열, 학생 부모의 진로 관련 모델링, 학생 부모의 정서적 지지와 상관이 있다. 셋째, 특성화고 학생들의 진로결정은 자기 명확성 부족, 직업정보 부족, 중학교 때 현재 학과의 희망 여부, 필요성 인식 부족에 의해 설명되며, 이 가운데 자기 명확성 부족이 특성화고 학생들의 진로결정을 가장 잘 설명하며, 다음으로 직업정보 부족이 특성화고 학생들의 진로결정을 잘 설명하고 있다.

영문 초록

The purposes of this study were to measure the career decision level of 1st grade specialized high school students, and to determine the relationship between career decision and its related variables. The population was 1st grade specialized high school students. The study was carried out through questionnaire survey method. The questionnaire was sent by mail. 560 completed questionnaires were used for analysis after eliminating incomplete responses. A survey questionnaire was developed by researcher to collect the information needed for the study. It consist of career decision scale, career barrier scale, parent s career support scale, education satisfaction scale, personal characteristics items. They consisted of 45 items. Both descriptive and inferential statistics were employed for data analysis. An alpha level of 0.05 was established a priori for determining significance. Major findings of this study were as follows: First, career decision level of 1st grade specialized high school students was 2.97, which was slightly below theoretical average. Second, eleven related variables were found to be a significant relationship with career decision level of specialized high school students. They were lack of job information , lack of self-clarity , lack of awareness for need , satisfaction to lesson , satisfaction to career education , student s department hope , gender difference , learning achievement , school type , career-related modeling of parent , emotional support of parent . Third, after multiple regression analysis, the proportion of the variance in career decision of specialized high school students was about 69.4%. Career decision was most explained by lack of self-clarity .
