국문 초록

본 연구는 그림책을 활용한 극놀이 활동이 영아의 놀이성과 정서조절에 미치는 효과를 알아봄으로써 영아에게 적합한 그림책을 활용한 극놀이와 사회정서 발달 지원의 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 경기도 K시의 두 어린이집의 만 2세 영아 30명을 실험집단과 통제집단으로 나누고 사전검사 후, 실험처치를 하고 사후검사를 진행하였다. 실험집단 영아에게는 주 1회씩 10주 동안 그림책을 읽어주고 그와 관련된 극놀이 활동을 전개하였고, 통제집단은 표준보육과정에 준한 그림책이 제시되고 영아들이 원할 때 읽어주었다. 사전, 사후검사에서 수집된 자료는 분석을 위해 독립표본 t-검정과 ANCOVA를 실시하였다. 연구결과, 그림책을 활용한 극놀이 활동은 영아의 놀이성과 정서조절에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 종합하면, 그림책을 활용한 극놀이 활동은 영아의 놀이성과 정서조절에 효과가 있으며, 보육현장에서 영아의 사회정서 발달을 지원하기 위한 효과적인 교수-학습방법으로 활용될 가치가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of dramatic play activities on the playfulness and emotional regulation of infants and to provide basic data for social emotional development by using picture books appropriate for infants. For this purpose, 30 infants of 2-yearolds in two child care centers were divided into a experimental group and a control group. To investigate the effects of dramatic play activities using the picture books on infants’playfulness and emotional regulation, pre-test, experimental treatment and post-test were carried out. For the experimental group, the children read the picture book once a week for 10 weeks, and dramatic play activities related to them were carried out. The control group presented the picture books based on the National Standard Child Care Curriculum and read them when the child wanted. The results showed that role play activities using picture books positively affected infants’playfulness and emotional regulation. These results suggest that dramatic play activities using picture books are effective in playfulness and emotional regulation of infants and are worthy to use for infants’teaching and learning methods to support the development of social and emotional development.
