5세 유아 해석공동체의 의미구성 과정 탐구 : 포스트모던 그림책 읽기를 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 포스트모던 그림책 읽기 상황에서 나타나는 유아들의 반응을 바탕으로 해석공동체로서 유아들의 의미구성 과정이 어떠한지 알아보고자 하였다. 연구는 총 15회기 동안 6명의 유아들과 한 명의 연구자가 해석공동체를 이루어 함께 포스트모던 그림책을 읽어나가는 형식으로 진행되었다. 연구결과, 만 5세 유아들은 포스트모던 그림책을 함께 읽을 때 보다 재미있게 읽고자 하였다. 특히 읽기를 놀이로 확장함으로써 의미구성을 과정을 즐기는 모습을 보였다. 동시에 이들은 함께 의미를 구성해나가는 과정에서 여러 인지적 사회적 갈등을 경험하기도 하였다. 또한 유아들은 다양한 텍스트들을 자원으로 활용하여 서로 대화하는 과정을 통해 갈등을 해결하고 함께 의미를 구성하였다. 이러한 연구는 교사와 부모가 유아의 문학적 이해와 그 역량에 대해 이해하는 것을 돕고, 유아 교육 및 문학교육에서 해석공동체 개념을 활용하는 데 기초자료가 될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to explore what the infants meaning construction is like based on their response in post modern picture book time. The study was conducted in the form of reading post modern picture books by creating a interpretative community of six children and a researcher during 15 sessions. Research showed that 5-year-old children used to read post modern picture books together with great interest. Especially they seemed to enjoy the meaning making process by expanding reading. At the same time, they experienced several cognitive and social conflicts in meaning construction process. Furthermore, they resolved the conflict and made the meaning together through the process of utilizing resources such as diverse texts and communicating each other. This research will help teachers and parents understand about the literacy work and pace of children and become the preliminary data in utilizing concept of interpretative communities in child education as well as literature education.
