연출과 연행: 미래교육의 핵심역량

국문 초록

최근 유럽 인문사회과학에는 문화적 전환에 대한 논의가 활발하며 이러한 움직임은 교육학에까지 파급되고 있다. 문화적 전환의 가장 핵심적인 논의는 다양한 이론적 관점에서 문화적 행위와 예술적 행위를 기술하고 분석한다는 점이다. 특히 문화담론에서 언급되고 있는 개념들 중 연행과 연출은 이 개념들이 생성된 영역을 넘어서 다른 담론에까지 영향을 주는 주도개념이 되어가고 있다. 이미 Ponty에 의해 인식이론의 기초로서 연행을 제시하고 있고 Goffman의 경우에도 인간의 사회적 상호작용을 설명하는 개념적 도구로 연출행위를 설정하고 있다. 교육적 행위를 문화적 행위로 인식할 경우 교육적 행위는 연행과 연출의 개념으로 설명가능해진다. 현대사회가 연출하고 연행하는 사회의 속성을 많이 가지고 있기 때문에 교육적 행위는 연행적 행위와 연출적 행위의 특성을 점점 더 많이 포함해갈 것으로 생각된다. 이러한 교육담론에서의 연행적, 연출적 전환에 관한 논의는 우리나라에서는 활발하지 않다. 현재까지는 문학교육과 교육연극, 그리고 학교규율과 같은 학교문화논의에서 부분적이고 제한적으로 연행과 연출의 주제들이 언급되고 있다. 연출하는 사회로 이행하는 현대사회의 특성으로 볼 때 연행과 연출은 이제 교육적 행위의 핵심적인 요소로 등장할 것이다. 미래사회에서는 연행과 연출에 뛰어날수록 교육적 행위를 위한 핵심역량을 잘 갖춘 것으로 인식될 것이다.

영문 초록

Recently, there are active discussions about cultural turn in European humanities and social sciences and the movement spreads to even pedagogy. The most salient discussion about cultural turn is that cultural behaviors and artistic behaviors are described and analyzed from various theoretical angles. Especially, performance and direction become leading concepts which make an effect on other discourses beyond the area those concepts were created, among the concepts mentioned in cultural discourse. Performance is already suggested by Merleau Ponty as a foundation of recognition theory and direction behavior is set by Erving Goffman as a conceptual tool explaining social interactions of human. If recognizing the educational behavior as a cultural behavior, the educational behavior can be explained by concepts of performance and direction. As there are lots of social attributes performed and directed by modern society, educational behavior should include more characteristics of performance behavior and direction behavior gradually. In consideration of the characteristics of modern society transferring to directed society, performance and direction will be appeared as core factors of educational behavior. In future society, persons will be recognized to have core competencies for educational behavior better as they are more excellent in performance and direction.
